Jagriti 17th January 2025 Written Episode begins with Jagriti instructing Kalindi to observe her Nirjala fast with devotion. She asks her to tie a blade of grass to her dupatta, half inside and half outside, as a ritual. Kalindi does so casually, saying it is too easy. Jagriti leaves to fetch water in a pot.

Kalindi then goes live on social media, boasting that she is fasting and will update her followers about the rituals. She lights the diya and declares that she will neither eat nor drink. Jagriti and Akash secretly watch her. Soon, Jhunki approaches, startling Kalindi. Jagriti and Akash ask Jhunki to leave, which calms Kalindi. But Akash points out that Jhunki has taken Kalindi’s phone. Worried that her followers saw everything, Kalindi rushes downstairs and begs Jagriti and Akash to retrieve her phone. Stressed, she gives in, serves herself juice, and drinks it—right as Kalikant and Gayatri arrive. Both are shocked to see Kalindi break her fast. Jagriti scolds her for not lighting the diya and breaking the vow. Gayatri, however, feels delighted when Ganga plays the shank and lights the diya instead. Kalindi fumes with rage while Akash and Jaggu smile in triumph.

Meanwhile, the Senior Judge asks Gita who will appeal if Jagriti successfully finds the gun. Gita replies that she herself will step down as judge, become a lawyer, and fight to prove Harish’s innocence. At the same time, Bindi, disguised as Vandevi, tricks Ballu into confessing where he hid the gun. He admits and promises to worship at the spot where it is hidden. Guided by this, Bindi and Jaggu find sindoor near a plant and dig the soil, but the gun is missing. They worry about Harish’s fate.

Jaggu suggests seeking Durjan’s help, but Bindi warns that if the community learns of their ploy, Durjan’s respect will be damaged. While they argue, Kachori overhears everything. She runs to her hut and wakes Ballu, telling him he confessed before Jaggu and Bindi, not before Vandevi. She shows him the gun she secretly retrieved. Ballu panics, but Champa reminds him that telling the truth would mean admitting he killed Amol. She advises him to seek Sarkar’s protection instead.

In court, Harish is brought before the judge. Gita tells him that all the evidence points to his innocence and that Jaggu has found the gun which will clear his name. Harish proudly says Jaggu is her daughter. Gita reassures him that Jaggu is on the way.

Back at the haveli, Jaggu and Akash wait for Ballu. Ballu arrives with Inspector Singh, asking him to help seek Sarkar’s forgiveness. Singh refuses, saying Sarkar will not spare him. Ballu hands the gun to Singh, but Akash recognises it as the very weapon they need. Acting quickly, Jaggu causes a decorative cloth to fall on them and escapes with the gun. When Singh and Ballu free themselves, they realise the gun is gone.

As Jaggu runs with the weapon, Kachori and Golu ambush her, hitting her with a rod and snatching the gun away. Jaggu pleads with Kachori, saying it was her last chance to save her father. Kachori tearfully replies it is her last chance to save her own father.

Precap: Jaggu asks Gita if their family will finally be together once Baba returns from jail. Gita assures her they will. Just then, Champa arrives and confronts Jaggu, demanding to know where Ballu is.
