Jagriti 21st December 2024 Written Update opens with Kalikant addressing the media and senior party members at a political gathering. He pledges to provide food and education for every household. Gita arrives unexpectedly, praising his speech sarcastically. She steps up to the mic and publicly announces that Thakur Saheb has organized an essay competition for underprivileged children, with scholarships for the top 10 participants and a ₹1 lakh prize for the winner. Kalindi praises Kalikant as a dynamic leader, and others join in the praise. When asked to comment, Kalikant takes a dig at Gita, calling her a bored, suspended judge using this opportunity for attention. However, he confirms the essay competition will go ahead.

At school, Jagriti receives praise from her teacher, while Sapna steps on her foot in jealousy. Akash confronts Sapna, but Jagriti tells him that Sapna’s actions are driven by fear. She suggests they investigate why Gita suddenly dropped the legal case. Akash shares his suspicions about a conspiracy involving his father and Amol uncle. Meanwhile, boys talk excitedly about the ₹1 lakh prize from the essay contest. Curious, Akash and Jagriti watch the announcement video at the Ram temple.

Jagriti realizes her mother (Gita) initiated the competition to help resolve her tuition issues. Akash encourages her to participate, but she doubts her writing skills. Akash offers to help, suggesting topics. She finds inspiration in a box, choosing to write on the topic “I am Chitta.” Gita, observing from afar, recalls placing that box intentionally. Jagriti fondly remembers Suraj giving her that box.

Akash worries they won’t have time to write due to school, but Gita vows to support her from a distance. Just then, screams are heard—Kalindi is in distress. She shouts during a live video that her life is in danger from wild animals. Suraj admits he’s unfamiliar with the jungle. Akash and Jagriti arrive to find Kalindi scared of a supposed wild animal. Jagriti investigates and discovers Jhunki, a donkey with cans tied to its feet. She frees the animal and shares a laugh with Akash as they plan a harmless prank.

Kalindi and Suraj arrive. Suraj asks how Jaggu managed to scare the animal away, to which Kalindi responds with awe. Jagriti jokingly says it was a black wolf. Kalindi goes live again, crediting Jagriti for saving them. Akash adds that Jagriti can communicate with birds and animals. Jagriti explains it’s because she was raised in the forest. Kalindi, impressed, asks if Jagriti can take her on a jungle tour. Jagriti questions whether Kalikant would allow it. Kalindi assures her she’ll convince him.

Back at the haveli, Kalikant reacts coldly to Jagriti’s presence and grabs his gun. Kalindi calms him and offers water. Gayatri praises Kalindi for handling the situation, while Ganga fumes silently. Kalindi tells Kalikant that Jagriti saved her life and suggests letting her stay to earn public goodwill. Kalikant reluctantly agrees. Kalindi teases him, calling him her “handsome man,” as Akash and Jagriti exchange a knowing glance.

Meanwhile, the Judge confronts Gita, accusing her of squandering a crucial opportunity to bring Kalikant down before the elections. Gita defends her decision, saying she took a step back now for a bigger leap later. She reveals that she plans to expose Kalikant, the police, and the mafia nexus before the elections. When asked how, she recalls her secret meeting with Ganga, where she requested Ganga to deliver a message to Jagriti.

Ganga passes on the message: Jagriti should not reveal her essay topic until the moment the Judge is on stage to hear it. Jagriti agrees, knowing that if she reveals it earlier, she might be prevented from participating altogether.
