Jagriti 2nd December 2024 Written Episode begins with Harish calling out to Bindi. As she approaches, she bumps into Kachori and Jaggu. Harish’s phone falls from Bindi’s hands, leading Jaggu to question how Bindi Mausi had the device. Harish admits he had been looking for it and recalls leaving it in the hut. Bindi quickly lies, claiming she found it in the jungle. Mangla interrupts, asking Bindi where she had been all day. Bindi distracts the matter by showing her sewing machine, brought from a friend to stitch Jaggu’s uniform. Jaggu, touched by the gesture, hugs her and affectionately calls her “Bindi Maa”. Observing the situation, Harish reflects on his helplessness in not being able to provide his daughter with new clothes despite her fight for education.

In another scene, Amol shows Gita and Harish’s photos on a projector to Gita and Sapna. Gita demands him to stop. Sapna, confused, asks why her mother is with Harish. Amol accuses Gita of having a relationship with Harish, insulting her dignity and integrity. He even claims that Gita gave birth to Harish’s daughter. A shocked Sapna questions why she calls Gita “Mamma”. Just as tensions rise, Gita, in an emotional state, grabs the gun from Amol’s uniform and shoots herself — but it’s revealed to be Bindi’s nightmare. Waking up startled, Bindi is shaken, convinced that her dream might come true.

The next morning, Jaggu is thrilled when Harish gifts her a school uniform. She wears it with pride and appears ready to head out, looking polished and neat. Bindi lovingly applies kajal to her as Harish fondly watches. Jaggu then seeks blessings from her Dadda before leaving. Meanwhile, Durjan scolds Ballu for being an inefficient hunter and praises Harish for his successful hunting efforts that earned rewards.

However, upon hearing this, Jaggu is horrified. She learns that the money used for the uniform came from hunting animals. Ballu mocks her, saying the red color in her uniform symbolizes the blood of animals killed by Harish. Jaggu confronts Harish, asking how he would feel if someone killed her for money. Disturbed by this truth, she refuses to wear the uniform anymore and chooses to wear the one stitched by Bindi.

At school, Suraj mocks Jaggu’s simple clothes and sticks a note on her back reading “I am a joker”. Akash defends her, leading to Suraj attempting to hit him but comically falling instead. Jaggu urges others to help him up, showing her kindness. When mocked about her attire, Jaggu notices Gandhi Ji’s photograph and recalls Akash saying Gandhi lived simply despite his greatness. She draws inspiration from it and states that had Gandhi worried about his clothes, India might never have gained freedom.

Akash is impressed and applauds her. Some girls start clapping but stop upon seeing Suraj. Just then, the Principal enters and questions Akash for roaming with the “Chitta girl”. He threatens to complain to Thakur Saheb. Akash leaves. The Principal confronts Jaggu about her school fees, asking for ₹5000 per month. Jaggu is taken aback, saying even ₹100 is difficult to arrange. Suraj whispers that the actual fee is ₹1200, but the Principal is demanding more under Thakur’s influence. The Principal says Jaggu can’t study unless she arranges the amount and mocks her clothing.

Meanwhile, Suraj informs a friend that Sapna is leaving Mokshgarh with her mother. Jaggu overhears this and becomes anxious, wondering how to reach her mother.
