Jagriti 31st December 2024 Written Update opens with Jagriti successfully retrieving the hidden evidence from the calf and quickly hiding it again. Meanwhile, Kalikant’s men recapture the calf and take it away. At the same time, Kalikant and Kalindi open a pen drive they believe holds damaging material—only to find a video of Jagriti and Akash dancing. Furious, Kalikant slams the laptop shut, lashes out at Inspector Singh, and even hits him in rage.
Back at the mansion, Ganga confronts Akash for collecting evidence against Kalikant. She warns him that if the truth comes out, Kalikant could be imprisoned, throwing the entire family into chaos. Akash stands firm and reminds Ganga of Kalikant’s history of cruelty and injustice, particularly towards the Chitta community. He insists that Kalikant must face justice. Ganga becomes deeply worried for Akash’s safety and prays for his protection.
Suraj, feeling betrayed, confronts Sapna for not reading the essay he gave her. When she hands it to him, he instantly recognizes Akash’s handwriting. Furious, Suraj accuses Sapna of conspiring with Akash and Jagriti to switch the essays. He suggests Sapna punish Jagriti for her actions. To his delight, Sapna agrees.
Meanwhile, Kalikant continues to berate Inspector Singh until Kalindi steps in and tells him to concentrate on uncovering who collected evidence against him. Kalikant regains focus, sensing something is still amiss.
Elsewhere, Gita begins to wonder where Jagriti has gone, only for her to return to Kalikant’s mansion to prepare for her stage performance. Just as she’s getting ready, Suraj and Sapna confront her and demand that she read a punishment essay they’ve written. Jagriti, unfazed, bursts out laughing and walks away. Akash steps in to taunt them, reminding them mockingly that Jagriti is illiterate and cannot read essays.
Inspector Singh then informs Kalikant about Amol’s movements and updates him that the calf has returned. Kalikant, suspecting that the calf may have carried hidden evidence, searches thoroughly but finds nothing. Inspector Singh also shares his suspicions about Harish, who recently returned to the mansion and may be aiding Jagriti.
Gita recalls reprimanding Jagriti earlier about the calf but has a change of heart when Akash reveals the truth—that Jagriti was actually safeguarding vital evidence against Kalikant. Akash explains the entire situation, shifting Gita’s perspective.
During the essay event, Jagriti introduces herself boldly as a proud member of the Chitta community. Kalindi questions her choice of topic. Jagriti confidently announces that her essay will be about what it means to be a Chitta. Suraj tries to mock her, calling the topic repetitive, but Jagriti holds her ground and silences him. When Kalikant demands that she choose another subject, Gita steps forward in support of Jagriti, declaring that every participant has the right to speak on the subject they believe in.
