Jagriti 4th January 2025 Written Update begins with Ballu dancing to release kerosene oil from a hidden pipe in his clothing. Kachori silently prays, hoping her act of pretending to faint will help her alert Harish and Jagriti in time to stop the disaster. Meanwhile, Durjan invites Kalikant to present the prize to Sapna and Jagriti. Kalikant signals Ballu to wait and internally plans to destroy the basti once he exits.

As Sapna and Jagriti approach to receive the prize, Kalikant makes a snide comment, pretending to honour Harish’s daughter. Kalindi cryptically says, “Leave your life,” and Jagriti hears her. Kalikant asks them to share the trophy, but Sapna grabs it and refuses to share, storming off.

Just then, Kachori arrives and warns that fire is about to engulf the basti. Before anyone can act, the kerosene reaches the flames and a canister explodes. Kalikant immediately orders his guards to secure the Minister, who flees in his car. Kalikant spots Akash and orders him to be dragged away. Akash pleads to be released so he can save Jagriti and the basti, but Kalikant walks away without mercy.

At another location, Amol grows anxious, trying to reach Kalikant, but his calls go unanswered. Inspector Singh confronts him, asking why he sent Sapna to the basti. Amol blames Singh for betrayal, but Singh defends his decision and encourages Amol to message Kalikant to ensure Sapna’s safety. Amol fears that Kalikant might harm her and sends the message.

Back in the basti, Akash pleads again, but Kalikant mocks him, then laughs at Amol’s message, hinting Sapna might already be dead. Akash is horrified. Meanwhile, Durjan rescues a young girl, and Jagriti with Kachori begin throwing water to control the spreading fire. Champa begins looking for Golu and Kachori.

Inside a burning home, Sapna screams for help. Gita desperately searches for her. Harish and Bindi also look for Jagriti. In a brave act, Jagriti covers herself with a blanket and jumps into the fire to rescue Sapna. Sapna is grateful but collapses before she can get far.

Elsewhere, Kalikant boasts to Ganga that he “saved” Akash and brought him back. He blames him for spying and almost beats Ganga. Gayatri intervenes. Ganga, stunned, asks Akash what happened. He breaks down and cries in her arms.

Back in the fire, Jagriti helps Sapna lie on a wooden plank and pushes her outside to safety. Sapna watches helplessly as Jagriti remains trapped inside. Gita’s saree catches fire, and Harish douses it with water and pulls her away. Gita continues searching for Sapna until she hears Jagriti calling out, “Maa!”

Champa urges Kachori not to reveal who set the fire. Golu joins her, asking Kachori to stay silent for their father’s sake. But Kachori questions the destruction, saying many lives were lost.

At that moment, Gita runs into the flames, hugs Jagriti, and finally calls her daughter. Overwhelmed, Jagriti breaks down and calls Gita her mother. The two embrace tightly. Everyone outside looks on emotionally, while Sapna glares, furious at the scene. Jagriti asks if Gita always knew she was her daughter. Gita nods and lovingly presses her forehead against Jagriti’s.

Harish enters and kicks a burning wooden pillar. Durjan helps remove it, and Bindi finds Jagriti’s hand burnt. She calls for Nanda to prepare a herbal paste.
