The episode begins with Gita emphasizing the importance of the right to education in this court. She asserts that Jaggu can choose whichever school she wants to attend for her studies. Jaggu confidently declares her determination to pursue an education. Gita then addresses the gravity of the accusations against Kalikant and insists that they cannot be disregarded due to lack of evidence. She urges the police to conduct a thorough investigation without bias or discrimination.
During the investigation, Jaggu will be under Police protection for safety. The court has declared Jaggu innocent and asked her to focus on her studies and move forward. Gita becomes emotional as she gazes at Jaggu before adjourning the court. Overwhelmed, Jaggu rushes over and asks if people will stop labelling her as a criminal. In response, Gita assures her this will no longer be the case.
Jaggu inquires if anyone will hinder my pursuit of education. Gita responds negatively. Jaggu embraces her and declares his first goal is to learn to write his name, Jagriti. Gita then asks for his name, to which he replies Jagriti. Gita turns to Harish and remembers their desire to name their daughter Jagriti. Jaggu expresses his gratitude towards her. Gita reminds him to take care of himself. Kalikant mentions that her blood has been identified. Amol overhears and becomes anxious.
Jaggu considers questioning Akash about his false statement at the haveli. However, her attention is diverted as Kalikant threatens Ganga, vowing to punish her. Interrupting, Akash pleads with Kalikant not to follow through with his threat. Harish suggests going to the basti to reveal the truth and clear their names of wrongdoing. Jaggu expresses concern that others may view them as liars since both Akash and Malkin also tell untruths. Harish explains that there are instances when lying is necessary.
Jaggu firmly believes that lying is unacceptable. According to her, when she insisted on her innocence, nobody believed her until the Judge himself confirmed it. Harish reveres the Judge and compares him to a God-like figure. Curious about becoming a judge, Jaggu inquires if she needs more education. Gita declares that as a judge, she will remain honest and distinguish between truth and lies. With determination, Gita promises to bring justice to their community and ensure that those in power do not mistreat them.
Ganga and Akash are brought home by Kalikant. Ganga’s neck is in his grasp. Akash asks him to leave Maa. Kalikant pushes him down while holding his neck. Ganga is warned that she will be tortured. Gayatri arrives and informs them that Bahuriya has done the right thing and that Jaggu would have revealed all of your secrets if she had been imprisoned. She claims that she would have seen Judge every day.
Amol approaches Kalikant, questioning the meaning behind his words about her blood being identified. Kalikant remembers uttering them. Sitting in her car, Gita observes as Bindi and Harish notice the constables approaching from behind. Bindi inquires why they are following them. The constable responds that they did not hear Judge Madam’s ruling and explains that for her protection, they must remain with her for 24 hours while the investigation is ongoing. Jaggu flees from the scene, with the constables attempting to halt her escape.
“Harish and Bindi approach Jaggu and inquire about her actions. Upon spotting Gita’s car, Jaggu quickly moves out of the way. Concerned, Gita instructs her driver to drive carefully. The driver explained that the girl suddenly appeared in front of the car. Gita notices Jagriti paying respect to the national flag and joins her. She asks if Jagriti is aware of its significance. Jagriti responds that she may not know the details but recalls being born in a haveli where Sarkar used to hoist the flag. This leads Gita to wonder if Jagriti was born on Independence Day. Jagriti then shares her connection with the flag.”
Gita ponders Jagriti’s identity as my daughter and urges her to join them in the Basti. Meanwhile, Jaggu mentions Kaki’s words, prompting Bindi to whisk him away. Harish prepares to leave when Gita reminds him of August 15th, 2017. She also questions if Jaggu belongs to us. As Harish remembers Durjan’s threats, he warns that Gita’s reputation could be tarnished if anyone overhears her.
Gita inquires about Jaggu’s identity, and Harish responds that she is his wife Bindi’s daughter. Gita then asks if Bindi is his wife, mentioning her observations from Chitta Basti. She also questions why their daughter is named Jagriti, a name of her choosing.
Harish explains, “I chose Jagriti for my daughter when Bindi gave birth. Gita then inquires if she was born on the same day as the flag hoisting at Kalikant’s haveli.” Harish responds, “No, my second daughter was born on 26th January.” He pleads with her, “Please, just let me live and don’t ruin my life again,” as tears stream down his face. This causes Gita also to become emotional.
