amai No. 1 12th December 2024 Written Episode begins with Riddhi splashing water on her face in the bathroom, haunted by the threats of the protesters. Overwhelmed by past memories, she covers her ears in distress. Kanchan persistently knocks on the door, urging her to open it. When Riddhi finally steps out, Kanchan embraces her, expressing her concern. Riddhi reassures her and inquires about the boy who saved her, determined to offer him a job. Kanchan, puzzled, questions her decision, but Riddhi insists that someone willing to risk their life for her cannot be a bad person. She dismisses the notion that first impressions are always right and suggests they test him if necessary before hiring. As Riddhi leaves, Kanchan remains worried.

Meanwhile, Neel confidently talks to his assistant, claiming that not only will he secure a job, but Riddhi might also transfer the entire company to him for saving her. He jokes about needing a stapler before meeting her, as his torn shirt might ruin his impression. Just then, he turns to find Riddhi standing before him. Attempting to diffuse the tension, Neel insists that she doesn’t need to thank him. Instead, he humorously suggests she could throw anything at him—except something too hard. However, Riddhi surprises him by slapping him across the face.

Neel, enraged, momentarily raises his hand but restrains himself. Kanchan, witnessing the scene, is equally taken aback. Neel asserts that if it weren’t for his upbringing, he would have retaliated. He reminds Riddhi that he was the one who saved her, and she should be grateful instead of hostile. Riddhi, skeptical, questions his claim. At this point, Kanchan intervenes, stating that men like Neel are often the root of such problems. She reveals that after Riddhi initiated his appointment process, a video surfaced showing Neel conversing with the protesters. Neel defends himself, calling it a manipulation, but Kanchan refuses to believe him.

Riddhi’s grandmother, observing the commotion, remarks that the Bhagavad Gita states that when wrongdoings escalate, a savior emerges. When her granddaughter asks if she is referring to Neel as a villain, she dismisses the thought and simply enjoys the unfolding drama. Neel, irritated, sarcastically advises Riddhi to start writing fictional stories instead of running a vineyard.

Kanchan, determined to expose Neel, vows to have him arrested. However, Neel remains unfazed, arguing that they should stop making baseless threats. Just then, the security guard enters with the protesters, revealing that Neel actually sabotaged their plans instead of colluding with them. Despite this revelation, Kanchan remains skeptical, accusing Neel of orchestrating the entire incident to appear as the hero. Neel counters by boasting of his heritage from Trimbak, a place known for its wisdom. He insists that while astrology may resolve personal problems, nothing can fix the arrogance of the Chodwanis.

Kanchan furiously asserts her identity, but Neel retorts that he is Neelkand Gangadhar, a gold medalist struggling for a job due to the limited opportunities in Nashik. He confidently refuses to be intimidated, leaving Kanchan and Riddhi stunned. Kanchan’s mother, amused, remarks that she might have finally found someone capable of handling her daughter’s strong-willed nature.

Neel then takes a stand against the Chodwanis’ management, highlighting their unjust mass layoffs. He cites the 1947 Industrial Disputes Act, explaining that companies must provide notice and government approval for layoffs exceeding a hundred employees. Riddhi’s grandmother, impressed by his knowledge, believes he might be the one to challenge Kanchan and Riddhi’s authority.

However, Kanchan remains adamant, declaring that they have complete control over their company. Neel argues otherwise, emphasizing that businesses thrive because of their workers and should not disregard employee welfare. He criticizes Kanchan and Riddhi’s inflated egos, asserting that their personal and professional lives are suffering due to their arrogance. His words hit a nerve with Riddhi, who recalls pleading with her father not to leave them. Kanchan, sensing Riddhi’s distress, holds her hand protectively before confronting Neel about his audacity.

Neel coolly responds that he can comment not just on their personal matters but also on their failing business ethics. He questions whether they have considered the impact of their decisions on the thousands of workers whose futures they’ve jeopardized. Kanchan, livid, warns Neel to leave, but he remains composed. He reminds her that Riddhi publicly slapped him, which has been recorded. Confidently, he claims divine support, referencing his RajYog, before storming out while Riddhi’s grandmother watches, entertained by the chaos.

As Neel washes his face outside, a car pulls up beside him. It’s Riddhi’s grandmother. Observing him keenly, she steps out and hands him a card. Neel, puzzled, asks what it is. She cryptically states that it holds the key to his future. Neel jokes about whether she expects him to join the Chodwani family, to which she simply smiles. She assures him that his resume has already been sent to all companies, making his employment options slim. This revelation stuns Neel, making him wonder about her true identity. He speculates whether she is the head of the Chodwani family, surprised by her kindness compared to Kanchan and Riddhi’s tough exteriors. As excitement builds, he takes the card, while the grandmother silently hopes he can handle the storm that awaits him.
