A board member opposes the layoffs, prompting Vicky to challenge his stance. The board member insists that the loss of trust cannot be compensated, even with a twelve-month severance. Riddhi demands the list of dismissed employees, and when Mr. Sharma informs her that there are 1,200 names, she immediately adds his name to the list, making it 1,201. Shocked, Mr. Sharma tries to defend himself, but Riddhi firmly declares that anyone who questions her mother has no place in this world. She then asks if anyone else wishes to speak against her mother before concluding the meeting.

As the meeting disperses, Vicky fumes over Mr. Sharma’s audacity. Riddhi explains that her mother’s decision was incorrect and that the board has issued a notice. Just then, some boys flying kites accidentally injure Kanchan’s nose with the sharp string. They flee, leaving Neel holding the string.
