Jamai No. 1 14th January 2025 Written Update begins with Neel answering Manjari’s urgent call. She informs him about the house fire, and Neel quickly reassures her that he’s coming immediately. Before leaving, Neel asks Riddhi to stay with Parameshwari and ensure she isn’t left alone. Manjari tells her parents that Neel is on his way. But Gangadhar, grief-stricken, wonders what Neel can do now when everything is already destroyed. He breaks down, telling Sumati that he failed to protect their ancestral home, losing not just property but memories and heritage.

Soon, the police arrive and seal the premises, asking everyone to maintain distance.

At the hospital, Riddhi checks on Parameshwari, who anxiously asks about Neel. She pleads once again to see Riddhi married before her final days. Riddhi gently explains that she and Neel are too different, and marriage isn’t possible. Hearing this, Parameshwari becomes extremely anxious and starts struggling to breathe. Alarmed, Riddhi calls the doctor. The doctor checks Parameshwari and announces her heartbeat has stopped. She quickly begins resuscitation using an electric shock, asking Riddhi to wait outside. Tearful and helpless, Riddhi steps out of the room.

Meanwhile, Neel reaches his burnt-down home, only to be stopped by the police. He looks at the destroyed house and is flooded with old memories. At a distance, Kanchan watches the scene unfold and smirks with satisfaction. Recalling Neel’s earlier warnings, she proudly declares that she has taken everything from his family—leaving only sorrow.

Neel asks Gangadhar how this happened. Gangadhar admits they don’t know. Sumati, broken by the loss, tells Neel she had always dreamed of seeing her children marry in that house—now all dreams are shattered. She wonders where they will go.

Back at the hospital, Riddhi anxiously asks the doctor about Parameshwari’s condition. The doctor tells her Parameshwari is now stable but cannot afford another stressful event. Left alone with her thoughts, Riddhi recalls Parameshwari’s heartfelt wish. Resolving to act, she decides she will marry—if not Neel, then someone else. She calls Lokit, informs him of the situation, and asks him to come to the hospital. Lokit agrees.

At the house, Neel prays in despair, questioning why his honest family is being punished like this. While searching the surroundings, he finds a bracelet and suddenly remembers Kanchan wearing the same one. Connecting the dots, Neel realizes Kanchan was behind everything. Burning with anger, he vows revenge and rushes to file a police complaint against her. He also instructs Shashank to take Gangadhar, Sumati, and Manjari to safety at Manjari’s house.

Back at the hospital, Riddhi grows tense waiting for Lokit’s arrival. Meanwhile, Neel reaches the police station and officially files a case against Kanchan, determined to bring her to justice.
