Neel and Riddhi find themselves entangled in an unexpected ritual, stirring emotions and conflicts. As Riddhi ascends the stairs, Neel follows closely behind but gets distracted conversing with the ladies. Unintentionally, he touches Riddhi’s back, sparking outrage from Vicky, who questions Neel’s audacity. Kanchan interjects, challenging Vicky’s possessiveness over Riddhi. Amidst the heated discussion, Neel apologizes, explaining that he only meant to ensure her safety on the unstable stairs. Riddhi, however, accuses him of intentional contact. Neel defends himself, stating his sole intention was to protect her. She dismisses his explanation, climbing further but nearly falling. Neel instinctively catches her along with the thal, leaving Riddhi stunned. As she regains composure and pushes him away, she stumbles again, prompting Neel to hold her hand. He sarcastically remarks that he is not willing to perish with her, suggesting she ascend the stairs carefully with him.
Neel reminds Riddhi of how he has saved her twice, hinting that she should reconsider his employment status despite her mother’s disapproval. He cryptically mentions “Aaj Ji” but refrains from elaborating, recognizing it as his trump card. Neel insists his grandmother believes that any company hiring him would flourish, even joking about reading Kundalis. Riddhi, unimpressed, asserts that he will never secure a position in her company and storms off with Neel trailing behind.
Vicky, enraged, threatens Neel, but Kanchan warns against provoking him, recalling his past confrontations. She emphasizes that they must rid themselves of Neel once the pooja concludes. Meanwhile, Neel and Riddhi arrive at the temple, where Neel guides her through the rituals. Riddhi hesitates when he requests her hand, but Neel reassures her that it is merely for tying a protective string. They begin chanting their respective mantras, unaware that the string has entangled them together. As they complete the ritual with closed eyes, an elderly couple distributing Murti notices them. The Pandit Ji, moved by the sight, blesses their bond, believing it signifies divine intervention.
As the couple gifts them a Murti, the Pandit Ji comments that their marriage should last another forty years, reinforcing the ritual’s significance. Though initially startled, Neel and Riddhi realize they are still bound by the string. Neel apologizes before breaking it and asks Riddhi to place the Nagdevta on the Shivling. She stumbles again, and Neel catches her, leaving Riddhi momentarily captivated by him. A woman approaches, placing a Murti in their hands, further astonishing Pandit Ji, who reflects on the divine indications.
Standing by the river, Pandit Ji prays to Shiv Shankar, contemplating the profound signs—Neel applying Tilak to Riddhi, performing the pooja together, and receiving blessings as a couple. Kanchan dismisses his interpretations, accusing him of scheming to marry his son into their wealthy family. Pandit Ji, taken aback, denies the allegations, but Kanchan insists that he has tarnished his own reputation.
Neel and Riddhi rush to their parents, only to find themselves amidst another confrontation. Neel fiercely defends Pandit Ji’s honor, while Kanchan labels him a fraud. The argument escalates as Neel questions their need to shout unnecessarily. He declares that Gangadhar Damodar Paransapi is highly revered, but Kanchan counters, calling opportunists undeserving of respect. Neel furiously warns her not to exploit her gender, vowing that had a man spoken so, he would have taken decisive action.
Riddhi intervenes, challenging Neel’s repeated assertions about restraining himself because they are women. She dares him to act, but Neel warns her against overstepping limits. Their intense argument is momentarily halted when Pandit Ji urges them to consider the sanctity of the temple. He reminds Kanchan of the mutual duty of respect between Brahmins and devotees, yet Kanchan condemns him for allegedly pushing his son into their family.
Neel, shocked by the accusation, declares that he will sever all ties with his father if such intentions exist. Pandit Ji insists the signs are clear, but Neel dismisses them, deeming Riddhi and Kanchan irrational. Furious, Kanchan declares they will not stay a moment longer. Vicky steps forward, asserting his concern for Kanchan’s dignity, but Neel, unfazed, remarks that the pooja is over.
However, Pandit Ji objects, stating that it is his duty to ensure its completion. He pleads with Kanchan not to let her stubbornness harm Riddhi’s future. Though skeptical, Kanchan agrees to partake in the final ritual meal after Riddhi persuades her. As Kanchan turns to Riddhi in shock, the tension lingers.
