Jamai No. 1 18th April 2025 Written Episode begins with Manjari hugging Neel during breakfast. Neel thinks she is worried for him and assures her that he is absolutely fine. Manjari then offers laddoo to Gangadhar. He asks for more, but Manjari refuses, reminding him that the doctor advised him to avoid sweets.

Neel asks Gangadhar why he always argues with Sumati. Gangadhar replies that their playful nok jhok is the best part of their marriage. Neel asks how he convinced Sumati to marry him. Gangadhar says that however tough a woman may appear, she always melts at jewellery. He shares that he once gifted Sumati a gold ring and proposed to her. Sumati smiles and adds that she replied by telling him they would go together and buy an even bigger ring. Inspired, Neel decides to gift a ring to Riddhi and propose to her.

Meanwhile, Manjari packs her things and tries to leave the house. Riddhi stops her. Manjari says she cannot stay there after Pratham’s betrayal. Pratham apologises sincerely and promises to marry her and accept the baby. After much convincing from Riddhi, Manjari finally forgives him.

Neel buys a beautiful ring for Riddhi and hides it in the bathroom so she will notice it. He plans a sweet proposal. But when he enters the bathroom, he finds a positive pregnancy test kit. Shocked, he assumes it belongs to Riddhi and misunderstands that she is pregnant.

Riddhi later walks into the bathroom and finds the ring. Before she can react, Neel quickly takes the ring back, confused and troubled. She happily hugs him, unaware of his misunderstanding.

Later, Riddhi sees Neel sitting in the lawn holding the ring thoughtfully. She asks if the ring is meant for his girlfriend. Neel says yes, but adds that the ring is useless now because that girl loves someone else. Riddhi is left confused as the misunderstanding deepens.
