In the latest episode of Jamai No. 1, Riddhi tells her mother they should go since Pandit Ji is requesting it. Kanchan is taken aback but agrees reluctantly. As they arrive, Riddhi insists that while Pandit Ji’s son may have his faults, he seems like a good person and should not be humiliated.

Kanchan agrees, and Riddhi informs Pandit Ji they will visit his home. However, she warns Neel not to assume there is any possibility of a relationship between them. Neel, in his usual style, sarcastically remarks that he is not interested either, as he has no intention of committing suicide. Pandit Ji scolds Neel and asks him not to inform his mother about this. Neel retorts that his mother would surely handle both women, but Pandit Ji insists he remains quiet.

As Riddhi arrives, Archi performs her Aarti. Riddhi bows to take blessings but glares furiously at Neel. Neel’s mother initially welcomes Riddhi but abruptly stops her, reminding her to step in with her right foot, as tradition dictates. Kanchan scoffs at the family’s customs, calling them frauds. Neel tries to brush it off, saying both women are slightly eccentric. Pandit Ji invites them inside to complete the Pooja ritual.

Noticing a Mala on the Shivling, Pandit Ji appears concerned. When Archi inquires, he brushes it off, asking her to serve the delicious food she prepared. She nods and leaves. Meanwhile, Pandit Ji asks Neel to help with the hand-washing ritual. When Neel offers assistance to Kanchan, she dismisses it, claiming she only uses sanitizer and considers washing hands outdated. Neel sarcastically asks if she belongs to a royal family, before proceeding to help them wash up.

As Neel leads Kanchan and Riddhi outside, Vicky and his mother are perplexed, questioning why the house lacks a proper washbasin. Neel then washes their hands using a water pipe, inwardly vowing to humble them. Kanchan takes out a pack of wipes and offers it to Riddhi, but it turns out to be empty. Riddhi decides to wash her hands outside. Neel’s sister comments on Riddhi’s lavish clothing, to which Archi reminds her that true wealth lies in one’s thoughts and character. She grows suspicious of Neel and Pandit Ji’s strange behavior.

Determined to teach them a lesson, Neel turns on the water pipe while listening to music, drenching Vicky and his mother. They slip and fall, much to Neel’s amusement. However, his expression changes when he sees Riddhi. Embarrassed, he apologizes. Riddhi asks if he was trying to make the sky rain, but Neel cheekily replies that he was merely trying to shoo away crows. He walks away, while Riddhi helps Vicky up. When she turns around, she is surprised to see Neel offering her a towel.

Inside, Vicky dries his hair when Kanchan arrives. She expresses her disappointment in Pandit Ji, accusing him of doing Pooja for others while failing to improve his own financial condition. She believes their biggest problem, as per their Kundali, is poverty. Furious, Archi prepares to retaliate but is held back by Pandit Ji.

As the meal begins, Riddhi and Kanchan are shocked to see the food served on the floor. Riddhi refuses to let her mother sit down in such a manner. Neel explains that it is customary to eat the Pooja meal this way, but Riddhi refuses to accept any tradition that causes discomfort to her mother. Neel playfully states that he would have arranged a grand dining table had the government allowed it.

Pandit Ji supports Riddhi’s stance, agreeing that nothing is more important than parents’ well-being. He decides to find a solution. Archi and Neel’s sister challenge Neel to fix the situation since he is known for problem-solving. Neel quickly arranges a makeshift dining table using trunks, impressing Riddhi.

As they begin eating, Kanchan and Vicky find the food unappetizing. They demand sauce, but Neel clarifies that Pooja meals are cooked a certain way. Annoyed, Kanchan, Vicky, and Neel’s sister refuse to eat. Neel calmly removes the food and asks his sister to feed it to the cows. However, he is stunned when he notices Riddhi eating without any complaints. She even drinks water before excusing herself to wash her hands.

Pandit Ji then takes Archi aside, cryptically asking if she has ever seen a flower burst. Archi is confused, but he explains that Riddhi is just like that—she holds everything inside and stays silent. Archi insists they need to get rid of Riddhi and Kanchan before things escalate, unaware that Kanchan has overheard the entire conversation. Furious, Kanchan plots her next move.

Pandit Ji apologizes to Kanchan for the food not meeting her expectations. Vicky’s mother mocks their inability to prepare a proper meal. Kanchan offers payment to Pandit Ji, but Archi refuses, stating that they are not beggars and must be given respect. Pandit Ji reluctantly accepts a small sum, adhering to the traditional rule of taking only what is required.

Kanchan insists that she never takes back money once given, implying that Pandit Ji’s refusal is a business strategy to later demand a higher fee. Neel defends his father, saying that Pandit Ji never takes more than what is rightfully his. Kanchan sarcastically calls it “good business sense,” hinting that they will demand a larger sum in the future.

Archi loses her temper, stepping forward angrily to confront Kanchan, setting the stage for an intense showdown in the upcoming episodes.
