Jamai No. 1 1st January 2025 Written Episode begins with Sumati urging Shashank to reveal the truth about what happened in the office. Shashank tells the police inspector that when he arrived, he found Neel unconscious on the floor due to an electric shock. Kanchan denies the claim, arguing that Shashank is biased since he is Neel’s friend. Neel pleads with Shashank to stay quiet, but Sumati demands that he show the video evidence.

Earlier, Shashank had questioned the security guard and the driver, both of whom confirmed that Kanchan was the one who threw water on Neel, leading to the incident. Shashank shows this video to the inspector, strengthening the case against Kanchan.

While Sumati insists the statements from Kanchan’s own employees are enough, Riddhi defends her mother, saying none of them actually saw the incident. She adds that she witnessed Kanchan helping Neel and calls Vicky to retrieve the CCTV footage for confirmation. Kanchan becomes visibly worried, knowing that the footage will expose her actions and possibly reveal the mysterious letter.

Sumati demands the immediate arrest of both Kanchan and Riddhi. The police inspector agrees and prepares for action. Meanwhile, Parameshwari remains hopeful that Neel will resolve the situation. Neel begs Sumati not to pursue legal action. When he asks if she’ll withdraw the complaint if Kanchan apologizes, Riddhi strongly objects, asserting her mother has done nothing wrong.

Neel pulls Kanchan aside and pleads with her to apologize to prevent arrests. Initially, Kanchan refuses, proudly stating she never apologizes to anyone. But Neel warns her about the impending CCTV footage and urges her to let go of her ego. Shockingly, Kanchan returns and apologizes to Sumati. Everyone, including Kamlesh and Riddhi, is stunned. Riddhi is especially upset and insists that the apology was unnecessary.

Despite the apology, Sumati refuses to forgive and demands Kanchan’s arrest. Neel argues against it, pointing out the damage it would do to Riddhi’s future. Gangadhar supports him, reminding Sumati of their own daughter. Reluctantly, Sumati withdraws the complaint, and the police exit the scene.

Parameshwari thanks Sumati for letting go, but Pratham creates more drama by accusing Sumati of fabricating the incident for financial gain. He insults her and demands to know how much she wants. Enraged, Pratham even orders Neel’s family to leave his house. When Gangadhar tries to calm him down, Pratham pushes him, but Riddhi steps in and catches him.

As Neel prepares to retaliate, Riddhi slaps him, shocking everyone.
