Jamai No. 1 21st April 2025 Written Update begins with Sumati requesting Riddhi to cancel her business meeting for the day and participate in the pooja at home. Riddhi, though reluctant, agrees. Sumati then asks her to wear the sari she specially selected for her. With mixed emotions, Riddhi walks to her room, and Kanchan quickly follows her.

Inside the room, Kanchan confronts Riddhi for agreeing to attend the pooja and for choosing to carry Neel’s child while putting her professional career aside. Riddhi avoids the confrontation by changing the topic. She says she has been thinking about celebrating Pratham’s birthday and wants Manjari to take charge of organising it. Kanchan immediately becomes furious and begins insulting Manjari, as is her habit.

Riddhi becomes anxious as she remembers her promise to arrange Manjari’s marriage with Pratham. She wonders how she will bring up the subject now, especially with Kanchan’s growing hostility.
