Jamai No. 1 27th January 2025 Written Episode begins with Gangadhar announcing that Basant Panchami, just two days away, is an auspicious day for Neel and Riddhi’s wedding. Parameshwari finalizes the date and confirms the ceremony will take place soon. She offers sweets to Kanchan, who refuses, reminding everyone of her diet. In response, Parameshwari jokes that she can drink cold water and proceeds to share the sweets with others. Kanchan walks off, thinking about Gangadhar’s belief in Riddhi and Neel’s perfect horoscope match.

Kamlesh and Vicky approach Kanchan and mock her failed efforts to prevent the wedding. Vicky jokingly warns her that Neel may move in with his entire family, creating chaos. Kamlesh adds to the concern, painting a dramatic picture of the disruption that could follow. Kanchan imagines Riddhi, dressed traditionally, serving food to Neel’s family and is jolted back to reality. Determined not to let the wedding happen, Kanchan firmly declares she will stop it at any cost. Kamlesh argues that the wedding date is set, but Kanchan replies confidently that the marriage is not over yet, and she will make sure it never is.

Elsewhere, Riddhi confronts Neel, accusing him of hiding their marriage plans from his parents. She expresses disbelief that he kept such a major decision a secret. Neel explains that marriage is deeply important to his family and insists that they are different from her father. Hurt by the mention of her past, Riddhi demands that Neel never bring it up again and expects complete honesty going forward. She leaves the conversation, leaving Neel anxious about revealing his future as a ghar jamai to his parents.

Back at the house, Parameshwari tells Kanchan that she must wash Neel’s feet as part of the upcoming wedding ritual. Kanchan immediately refuses, but Sumati insists that she must follow the tradition. Parameshwari adds that Sumati will also be required to wash Riddhi’s feet. Sumati agrees without hesitation, and Parameshwari urges Kanchan to do the same for Riddhi’s happiness. Though reluctant, Kanchan finally agrees but begins planning a way to use the ritual to her advantage with help from Kamlesh and Vicky.

When Riddhi and Neel arrive for the ritual, Kanchan starts performing the ceremony. Parameshwari explains that Kanchan will wash Neel’s feet, while Sumati will do the same for Riddhi. Riddhi stops Sumati and says she cannot allow someone like a mother to touch her feet. Sumati insists, saying she is committed to the tradition. Riddhi suggests a compromise and asks Sumati to only wash her thumb, referring to Parameshwari’s earlier comment about the shivling being linked to the thumb. Gangadhar supports this idea.

Neel offers a similar compromise to Kanchan, asking her to only wash his thumb. However, Kanchan insists on washing his entire feet. Vicky brings hot water, and Kanchan deliberately pours it on Neel’s feet. Though in pain, Neel remains calm and does not react. Kanchan taunts him, trying to provoke a response. Neel explains that showing pain would give her satisfaction and possibly lead Sumati to cancel the wedding, which he will not allow. Frustrated, Kanchan reminds him of how she once burned down his house. Neel tells her to keep reminding him, as it fuels his motivation for revenge.
