The episode opens with Sumati reflecting on recent events, feeling betrayed by Neel’s actions. Shashank’s mother urges her to remain calm, praising Riddhi’s looks and education. But Sumati is too hurt to listen, angrily declaring that she wants to punish Neel.
When Neel arrives, he willingly offers himself for punishment but pleads for forgiveness. Sumati, feeling personally betrayed, questions how he could hide such a big matter from her. Admitting his mistake, Neel begins doing sit-ups, vowing not to stop until she forgives him. Sumati laments that he has taken away her biggest dream — choosing her son’s bride — and twists his ear, asking why he couldn’t find another girl, knowing Kanchan and Riddhi’s true nature.
Meanwhile, Parameshwari confronts Kanchan over Neel’s injury. Kanchan insists it was accidental, but Parameshwari accuses her of deliberately trying to sabotage the wedding. She warns Kanchan not to ruin Riddhi’s happiness. When Riddhi steps in to defend Kanchan, Parameshwari insists that Kanchan will go to any lengths to stop the marriage. Riddhi stands firm, claiming she is happy with the wedding, and Kanchan reluctantly agrees.
Back with Neel and Sumati, she asks if he truly wants this marriage. Neel embraces her, assuring her that he is marrying for both his own happiness and the family’s. Though she forgives him, Sumati remains uneasy. Gangadhar arrives, and Neel apologises to him. Gangadhar supports the marriage and even brings jewellery from the bank for Neel to use as a house deposit. Neel refuses, and Sumati insists Riddhi must not come to Shashank’s house. She warns Neel not to take financial help from Kanchan or Riddhi, unaware of the ghar jamai condition.
Elsewhere, Vicky asks Kanchan about their next move. She smugly declares that Neel will never reach the wedding mandap.
The next morning, Neel anxiously asks Shashank about their parents’ whereabouts and learns they have gone to Riddhi’s house with her wedding outfit. Alarmed, he rushes off on his bike but is stopped by a traffic officer for not wearing a helmet.
At Riddhi’s home, Simran welcomes Neel’s family, but Kanchan coldly remarks that uninvited guests are unwelcome, angering Sumati. Parameshwari diffuses the tension, and Sumati presents the bridal saree for Riddhi. While Parameshwari admires it, Kanchan whispers something to Vicky, who slips away. A maid reaches for the saree, praising it, but Sumati insists it is for Riddhi. Parameshwari dismisses the maid, only for Kanchan to smirk and declare that Riddhi will never touch the saree.
