The episode begins with Kanchan taunting Sumati, saying Riddhi would never wear such cheap clothes. She scoffs that in their household, more expensive fabric is used just for cleaning. She further mocks that a designer is already preparing Riddhi’s wedding outfit and sarcastically offers to get one made for Neel as well. Parameshwari steps in to question her, but Kanchan shrugs off the criticism, claiming Neel, as the family’s son-in-law, will attend high-society events and must match their standards.

Meanwhile, Neel is stuck dealing with a traffic police officer. He agrees to pay the fine for not wearing a helmet, but the officer accuses him of showing off his wealth. Neel insists he is simply taking responsibility for his mistake. When the officer demands he fetch a helmet before retrieving his bike, Neel grows frustrated, explaining that his wedding could be cancelled if he’s late.

Back at Riddhi’s house, she greets Gangadhar and Sumati, taking their blessings. Parameshwari tells her that Neel’s family has brought her a wedding outfit. Sumati hands it over, and Riddhi admires it, saying the colour will suit her well. She asks Kanchan’s opinion, but Kanchan simply glares and walks away. Gangadhar compliments her beauty, but Riddhi is called away by a phone call.

Parameshwari offers Neel’s family breakfast, but Sumati declines. Gangadhar expresses his wish to talk to Riddhi, and Parameshwari directs him to her room. He heads there with Manjari.

On the road, Neel desperately tells the officer that if his wedding gets cancelled, he might as well die — and the blame would be on him. The officer, unimpressed, threatens to arrest him. Neel spins a fake sob story and, at the officer’s request, tries calling Riddhi. When she doesn’t answer, the officer smugly remarks that girls are like that. In frustration, Neel notices the officer’s helmet, grabs it, pays the fine along with the helmet’s cost, and speeds off.

At Riddhi’s house, Pratham bumps into Gangadhar, causing him to fall. Manjari scolds Pratham, but he snaps back, saying Gangadhar should wear glasses. The argument heats up, but Gangadhar stops Manjari and takes her away. They reach Riddhi’s room, where Gangadhar sends Manjari out so he can speak to Riddhi privately.

Neel finally arrives at the house. Simran teases him for coming in his night clothes just to meet Riddhi. He sneaks into her room, stopping her from telling Gangadhar about the ghar jamai arrangement. Just then, Sumati enters, and Neel quickly covers by saying his friend recently became a ghar jamai. Sumati firmly tells him to cut ties with such friends.

Gangadhar assures Riddhi that she will be happy after marriage and asks her to start calling him “Papa”. However, Riddhi remembers her past and firmly says he can only ever be her father-in-law, nothing more.
