The episode begins with Riddhi telling Gangadhar that he can never be more than her father-in-law. Gangadhar, although hurt, responds with understanding. Later, Neel visits Riddhi, who admits that while Gangadhar is kind, she cannot call him “father.” Neel accuses her of hurting Gangadhar’s feelings, but Riddhi turns the conversation around, asking if he has told his family about his decision to become a ghar jamai (live-in son-in-law).

Meanwhile, Sumati taunts Gangadhar, calling Riddhi arrogant and comparing her to a bitter gourd. She sends Manjari to bring Neel back.

Elsewhere, Kamlesh tends to Kanchan’s injured leg. Hearing noises from Riddhi’s room, she investigates and sees Neel pulling Riddhi close, covering her mouth, and creating an intense moment between them. Shocked, Kanchan leaves silently. Riddhi warns Neel never to repeat such behaviour and insists he must inform his parents about the ghar jamai condition before their wedding. Neel teases her as his “future wife,” leaving her stunned.

As Neel exits, he sees Manjari and wonders if she overheard their conversation. Manjari runs away, upset, but Neel catches up. She accuses him of choosing comfort over family and vows to tell their parents the truth. Neel pleads with her, explaining that he loves Riddhi and that Kanchan placed the ghar jamai condition. Manjari, hurt, questions whether he can stay away from his family and calls him a bad son and brother before running off.

Parameshwari comforts Riddhi, who admits Neel still hasn’t told his parents. Parameshwari assures her he will handle it. Manjari tries to reveal the truth to their parents, but Neel intervenes, hugging her and whispering that he will disclose it at the right time.

Meanwhile, Kanchan instructs Vicky to stop Neel from reaching the wedding venue.
