Jamai No. 1 7th March 2025 Written Episode begins with Kanchan taunting Neel, asking what if someone from his family dies. Enraged, Neel declares that while he hates Kanchan, he deeply loves his family. Determined, he warns Kanchan that she will soon face the consequences of her schemes before walking out. Kanchan only smirks in return.
Meanwhile, Sumati tells Riddhi to leave, refusing her help and insisting they will never live with her. Riddhi acknowledges Sumati’s anger toward Neel and admits it is justified, but she explains that Neel misses his family and could never truly abandon them. Riddhi then pleads with the family to move in with her. Sumati firmly refuses, saying she would rather live on the streets than in Kanchan’s house. Before leaving, Riddhi reminds Gangadhar of a past promise.
Holding the Shivling, Riddhi recalls how Gangadhar had once vowed to grant her wish whenever she asked. She now demands that he and his family come live with her. If he refuses, she challenges him to place his hand on the Shivling and admit he is breaking his promise. Sumati protests, saying it is unfair, but Riddhi stands her ground.
Elsewhere, Neel struggles with his decision, torn between staying with Riddhi and supporting his family. As Kanchan happily listens to music, Neel is shocked to see Riddhi arrive with his family, declaring that they will now all live together. Neel objects, saying he will find a separate house because two families cannot stay under one roof. But Riddhi insists they are now one family and must remain united.
When Sumati begins coughing, Riddhi quickly offers her water. She then hands the Shivling to Neel, asking him to place it in the temple. Together, Neel and Riddhi install it, while Gangadhar performs a puja. Kamlesh, noticing Kanchan dancing in her room, informs her that Neel’s family has moved in. Kanchan storms out in anger.
Neel tells Kanchan that a new chapter has begun—although he had planned to leave, he has changed his mind. Kanchan fumes, declaring that his family cannot stay. She insults them for having no shame and orders them to leave immediately. Riddhi then reveals that she was the one who brought Neel’s family there and explains how hard it was to convince them. When Kanchan asks why she didn’t just buy a new house, Riddhi firmly responds that Neel is her husband, and his family is now hers as well. She refuses to let them suffer anymore.
Kanchan, asserting her authority, furiously reminds them that it is her house and she does not want Neel’s family staying under her roof.
