Jhanak 14th December 2024 Written Episode begins with Anirudh telling Jhanak that he loves her. He says he has already asked Arshi to leave him. Jhanak tells him he cannot hurt Arshi this way. He asks if he is supposed to continue hurting himself forever and adds that he does not want to hurt Jhanak either.
She says she is fine and wants to focus on her dreams, reminding him that her life does not revolve around him. When he asks if he still has a place in her life, she wonders how he could even think of asking that. Anirudh says her one decision can change everything for both of them, but she refuses to accept it.
He shocks her by saying she will only understand his feelings if she hears the news of his death. Jhanak says their union will bring chaos into everyone’s life. Anirudh suggests that they leave the city together and mentions that he has a job offer abroad. She says she wants to pursue her own ambitions. He then suggests that they can settle in Mumbai instead.
She asks about his responsibilities, especially towards Arshi. He says Arshi is no longer his responsibility and insists he will either live with Jhanak or die. Jhanak tells him to let go and forget everything, but he says he will not go back to Arshi even if Jhanak refuses him. He pleads with her to save him, saying he feels suffocated.
Moved by his pain, she agrees to go to his house for now but says she will leave someday. He proposes marriage, but she refuses, saying she cannot destroy the bond he shares with Arshi. He says there is no bond left and claims he is willing to leave everything for her. He tells her to live her dreams freely and not to contact him again.
When he turns to leave, she stops him. He asks her to promise she will never leave him again, but she says she cannot make such a promise. He tells her to let him go then, but she says he cannot leave without her. Hearing this, he feels relieved and takes her along in his car.
They reach his house. Jhanak says she does not want to break his marriage with Arshi. Anirudh receives a call from Aditya and asks Jhanak to go inside, but she decides to go to Appu’s house instead. He agrees.
Anirudh tells Aditya everything. Aditya advises him to make Jhanak fully believe that he and Arshi are finished. He also warns Anirudh that Kul Bhushan is planning to harm Jhanak before the court gives its verdict. Anirudh thanks him and says he wants to marry Jhanak and bring happiness into her life. Aditya tells him Jhanak is fortunate to have him and asks him not to let her leave Kolkata.
Later, Anirudh decides that Jhanak must stay with him for her safety. An employee approaches him and requests leave because his father is suffering from cancer. Anirudh agrees and visits the employee’s house to verify. He checks the medical report, takes a photo and asks someone to edit it for him, saying he is doing it to protect Jhanak. He gives the employee money and leaves.
Meanwhile, Jhanak meets Appu and tells her that Lalon will find a job soon. Appu asks Jhanak if she plans to leave her and says she knows Jhanak is thinking about Anirudh. Jhanak says she cannot live with him. Appu says Anirudh should have married Jhanak instead of Arshi.
Anirudh calls Jhanak and tells her something big has happened. He says he is waiting outside for her and ends the call.
