Jhanak 16th December 2025 Written Update begins with Sanjhbati advising Aditi to share her problems with the family, saying solutions come when everyone stands together. She gifts Aditi jewellery and gently suggests that she wear it the next day. Aditi responds politely but without much enthusiasm. Sanjhbati then notices Payal’s silence. Payal admits she is curious about her own gift, prompting Sanjhbati to hand one to her as well. Dritimaan jokingly says the gift choice was his, teasing that he knows Payal better than Surjeet does. Sanjhbati also presents a gift to Surjeet, who praises their taste.
Dritimaan then gives a gift to Mishti. Mishti asks if she is the only one receiving a gift. Sanjhbati explains she bought just one for everyone and will buy more if Mishti wants. Mishti says she was actually talking to Dritimaan. Dritimaan replies that he and Sanjhbati are one. Sanjhbati asks if Mishti did not expect a gift from her. Mishti makes a hurtful remark about Sanjhbati’s limited income. Dritimaan is shocked and questions her words. Sanjhbati firmly tells Mishti she has no right to comment on her earnings. Dritimaan orders Mishti to apologise. Rishi also scolds Mishti, but she refuses, saying she does not want a gift if it comes with drama. Dritimaan asks her to stop.
Putul brings Jhanak downstairs. Aditi says she wants to go inside, but Sanjhbati stops her, saying she still has gifts to give. She surprises Jhanak with an expensive saree. Jhanak is taken aback and asks why such a costly gift was bought for her. Sanjhbati asks her to simply say whether she likes it. Jhanak says it is beautiful and thanks both Sanjhbati and Dritimaan. Dritimaan then gifts Rishi, who appreciates it. Rishi asks Sachin to bring the gifts he bought and presents them to the couple.
Aditi notices another gift box and asks Rishi if it is meant for her or Mishti. Rishi reveals it is for Jhanak, explaining that she does not have many clothes, so he bought her a saree. Aditi gets angry and sarcastically tells him to buy more for Jhanak, adding that he need not do anything for his wife. Rishi tells her not to speak to him that way and says he can buy things for his family. Jhanak senses tension and tells Putul this is why she did not want to come downstairs.
Rishi hands the saree to Jhanak, but she refuses, saying she never asked for it. She asks him to give it to Mishti instead. Mishti refuses, saying she will not wear something bought for Jhanak. Rishi insists that Jhanak accept it. Sanjhbati also convinces her, and Jhanak finally agrees. Rishi thanks her.
The next day, Dadabhai warmly welcomes Sanjhbati’s family. Kaka and Tanushri express happiness as preparations begin for the Aashirwad ceremony. Rishi compliments the couple. Aniruddh and Arshi arrive, and Aditi hugs them. Arshi congratulates Dritimaan and Sanjhbati and gifts them an expensive pair of watches. Dritimaan says it was unnecessary since they are already sponsoring the catering. Aniruddh praises the caterer, saying guests always remember good food. Abhimanyu thanks him, and Indumati invites everyone inside.
Sanjhbati asks about Jhanak. Putul says she must be around and mentions how beautiful she looks. Neelu taunts that Jhanak appears like a main family member. When Jhanak arrives, Sanjhbati compliments her. Jhanak says she has work to finish and leaves. Meanwhile, Aniruddh checks with a waiter, who assures him everything will be ready within an hour.
As the Aashirwad ceremony begins, Rishi accidentally collides with Jhanak and catches her before she falls. They share an emotional eye lock, and Rishi says he wants her to stay like this forever. Aditi walks in and questions what is going on. Jhanak explains she slipped and Rishi helped her. Aditi scolds Rishi for his behaviour in front of guests. Jhanak apologises to Aditi and leaves.
Kaka advises Dritimaan to keep Sanjhbati happy always. Sanjhbati’s mother jokingly says Dritimaan cannot run away anymore. He promises Sanjhbati’s happiness. Arshi comments on Aditi’s marriage to Rishi and says couples should resolve differences together. Aniruddh says he trusts Rishi and Aditi’s understanding and praises Aditi. Dadabhai says Aditi’s fate will protect her. Indumati asks everyone to drop the topic. Arshi questions if Dadabhai still does not see Aditi’s maturity, but Indumati says they know she is mature. Dritimaan and Sanjhbati take blessings from the elders.
Later, a waiter gives food to Jhanak and asks her to keep it in the kitchen. After she enters, the waiter locks the door from outside. Arshi gifts a necklace to Sanjhbati, and Aditi helps her wear it. Suddenly, Rishi notices smoke coming from the kitchen area.
