Jhanak 17th December 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Jhanak firmly stating that she will marry Anirudh. Bablu responds that it is her life and she is free to make her own decisions. He adds that he always considered her his daughter, and now he feels she truly is, which is why he cannot stop her from taking this step. Jhanak is stunned hearing this, and Bablu quietly leaves.

Arshi asks Anirudh whether he plans to invite her to his wedding. She says she will attend if he calls her. Anirudh asks if they can remain friends because he genuinely values her friendship. Arshi rejects the idea immediately, saying they cannot be friends since he was her husband and she does not want to see his face again. She wishes him happiness with Jhanak but refuses his offer to drop her home, calling him a stranger. Anirudh apologises for hurting her and asks for forgiveness, but Arshi says she will never forgive him because forgiving him will change nothing. She walks out, unmoved by his attempts.

Jhanak confronts Arshi and says she never wanted to break her relationship with Anirudh but felt she had no choice. She asks Arshi to think about why she agreed to this marriage so suddenly. Arshi mocks her and says Jhanak has risen from a maid to a Malkin, accusing her of snatching everything. She claims Jhanak can never love Anirudh as deeply as she does because he is still her husband. Jhanak quietly says Anirudh is her love. Arshi tells her she has won and should celebrate. Jhanak says Arshi is free to meet Anirudh anytime, but Arshi calls it all an act.

Jhanak reminds her that she once left both, and yet she got nothing in return. Arshi accuses her of trying to separate her from Srishti. Jhanak defends herself and says she spoke the truth for Urvashi’s justice, reminding Arshi that Srishti, who gave birth to her, cannot be erased from the truth. She tells Arshi she can reopen the case if she wishes, but Jhanak will not fight this time. Arshi accuses her of playing the sympathy card. Jhanak simply says that things will become clear in a few days. In her heart, Jhanak resolves that if Anirudh survives, she will return him to Arshi. Arshi, frustrated and angry, pushes Jhanak and storms off.

Downstairs, Arshi takes Arundhati’s blessings. Arundhati says they never wanted her to leave and blames Anirudh for everything. Shubh becomes emotional and says the Lakshmi of the house is going away. He shares an old memory with Arshi. Arshi taunts Bablu and says he must be happy. She asks him to begin the wedding preparations. Bablu says she is misunderstanding and insists he never wanted things to reach this point. Anjana says they tried to stop Jhanak, but she did not listen.

Anirudh tells everyone that his decision to marry Jhanak is mutual. Shubh urges him to stop creating more problems, while Tanuja scolds him and calls him shameless. Laal tells Arshi to take care of herself. Shubh warns Anirudh that Jhanak will destroy his life but stops himself from throwing him out. Tanuja blames Jhanak for Arshi’s departure and says she does not know how to save Anirudh from her. Jhanak defends herself and says she is not trying to ruin anyone’s life. She says a day will come when everyone will understand her decision and realise she is not wrong.

Anirudh again offers to drop Arshi home, but Shubh tells them all to stop this drama. Anirudh tells Shubh not to interfere. Arshi steps in and says enough. She tells Anirudh and Jhanak to stay happy together and ends the discussion.
