Jhanak 17th November 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Vinayak narrating a shocking story. He says a girl returned to her home and continued her life as before. Her husband realized she never truly loved him but was only interested in his money and status. Still, their relationship stayed intact because he did not wish to break it. During that one year, she lived with her first husband, the one she loved.
Shrishti interrupts, asking what this story means. Vinayak insists on continuing. He reveals that the girl never wanted to tell her second husband about her earlier marriage and child. She feared her first husband would appear at her second husband’s home. She pretended to love her first husband again and carried his child. Eventually, she returned to make him disappear, with the help of his twin brother. The twin brother gained all the status, money, and fame while the real husband disappeared. Relieved, the woman returned to her second husband.
Vinayak shocks everyone further by saying that the woman abandoned her child, and her younger sister raised the baby. This younger sister was a talented dancer who secretly loved the same man but never wanted to break her elder sister’s marriage. The child grew up and later reunited with her family. He then connects this story with Arshi, Jhanak, and Anirudh. He recalls how everyone tried to kill Jhanak but failed.
Mrinalini realizes Vinayak is talking about Jhanak and blurts it out. Choton asks who the woman in the story is. Mrinalini reveals it is Shrishti. The truth shocks everyone. Anirudh finally understands what Vinayak has been trying to say. Vinayak continues, revealing that when Jhanak was attacked, Sadhus saved her and took her to an ashram. There she met her father’s friend, a doctor, who saved her life. They gave her a new identity as Nutan.
The revelation shakes everyone. Vinayak declares that Arshi is Shrishti and his daughter, while Jhanak is Shrishti’s other daughter. He announces Jhanak’s identity as Nutan. Appu laughs, saying she already knew Nutan was Jhanak. Anirudh cries and embraces Jhanak. Shocked, Tanuja, Bipasha, and Shubh demand clarification. Jhanak admits Shrishti gave birth to her, but she refuses to accept this identity. She insists she is Urvashi’s daughter. She recalls how she once hated her father until she met Pandit BrijBhushan, who proved to her that a father’s love can be unconditional.
Shrishti faints as Brij admits he is Shrishti’s husband. Vinayak then declares his decision to divorce Shrishti, saying no woman can live with two husbands. Arshi begs him not to do this, but he insists Shrishti betrayed him, cheated her entire family, and cannot face Jhanak’s real talent.
Anirudh assures Jhanak that he always believed in her survival. Arshi coldly remarks that Jhanak has returned, but she will never be related to her. She drags Anirudh away, but he refuses to leave Jhanak’s side. Brij thanks Vinayak for his courage and asks Jhanak to come with him. Though Anirudh tries to stop her, Jhanak says Anirudh belongs to Arshi because she herself is stepping aside. She leaves in tears.
At home, Jhanak confides in Brij that it is painful to accept being Shrishti’s daughter. Brij consoles her, saying Vinayak will never forgive Shrishti, and even Arshi may reject her.
Meanwhile, Vinayak returns home with Shrishti and Arshi. Locking himself in his room, he refuses to speak. When confronted, he lashes out at Shrishti for using him for money and neglecting Arshi during her childhood. He says he alone raised Arshi. Shocked, Arshi recalls her painful childhood and questions whether Vinayak’s claims about her mother are true.
Brij warns that the real battle will begin in court, as Shrishti will be exposed for marrying twice and abandoning Jhanak. Shrishti denies everything, calling it a plot by Brij and Jhanak. Vinayak, however, refuses to forgive her. He accuses her of trying to kill Jhanak to hide the truth. Shrishti begs for trust, but Vinayak says he can no longer be deceived.
Later, Anirudh visits Jhanak, expressing his grief and love. Jhanak pushes him away, reminding him that nothing can change between them.
