Jhanak 18th December 2025 Written Update begins in the hospital where Dritimaan tells Jhanak that he must leave as hospital rules are strict and no one is allowed to stay. Jhanak asks him not to worry about her and requests him to go home. Dritimaan advises her to tell everything clearly to the doctor and not get scared. Jhanak says she is worried about Rishi and blames herself for his condition. Sanjhbati reassures her, saying Rishi is fine and even offers to open the door so she can see him. Jhanak refuses and breaks down in tears. Dritimaan comforts her and asks her not to worry. Jhanak insists she is not responsible for the fire accident. Sanjhbati assures her that everyone knows this and that Rishi will find out the truth. Sanjhbati and Dritimaan then leave.
Aditi informs Rishi that she is leaving since the hospital staff is not allowing her to stay. Rishi asks her to go home and rest. Aditi taunts him, saying this is exactly what he wanted. Neelu reminds Rishi that Aditi is his wife. Aditi questions Rishi for not thinking about her before risking his life for Jhanak. Rishi says he wants to rest. Aditi asks him to take care of himself and leaves with Neelu.
Rishi and Jhanak silently look at each other from a distance. Rishi asks the nurse about Jhanak’s condition, and the nurse assures him she will recover soon. She asks if Jhanak is his wife, and Rishi replies yes. The nurse allows him to meet her, but Rishi says he will come later. Meanwhile, Jhanak asks the nurse about Rishi’s health. The nurse tells her Rishi is fine and will be discharged the next day. When asked if Rishi is her husband, Jhanak replies yes. The nurse offers to call Rishi, but Jhanak asks her to let him rest.
Rishi comes to see Jhanak. The nurse tells him that Jhanak was worried about him and says husband and wife should stay together during such times. After she leaves, Rishi and Jhanak share an emotional eye lock as romantic music plays. Jhanak asks why he risked his life for her. Rishi asks who else would save her. Jhanak says his life is precious, but Rishi tells her that her life matters the most to him. He assures her that he will investigate the fire accident and asks her to expose Aniruddh by telling the truth to the media. Jhanak is shocked and asks him not to do that.
Rishi tells her she is not ruining anyone’s life but fighting for her own rights. Jhanak worries that Aditi will leave the house. Rishi admits that he is unable to love Aditi. Jhanak tells him she wants him to stay happy with Aditi, but Rishi confesses that he loves Jhanak and not Aditi. He says he will free Aditi from this marriage. Jhanak asks him to keep her away from this decision. Rishi refuses and declares that he will marry Jhanak if Aditi divorces him.
Elsewhere, Parashar grows worried about Jhanak and scolds Dhamu for forcing her marriage with Rishi. Kanka intervenes, saying it is not the time to fight. Parashar asks Dhamu to call Dadabhai. On the call, Parashar asks about Jhanak and requests to speak with her. Abhimanyu advises Dadabhai not to reveal the truth, fearing Parashar will create trouble. However, Dadabhai informs Parashar that Jhanak is hospitalised and explains everything. Tanushri accuses Dadabhai of caring only about Jhanak and not Rishi.
Back at the hospital, Rishi tells Jhanak that he did not think twice when he saw her trapped in the kitchen. He asks her directly whether she loves him. After emotional hesitation, Jhanak accepts that she loves Rishi but says she does not want him to get hurt. Rishi dreams of a new life together and says no one can come between them. Jhanak reminds him that Aditi is already his wife and also her elder sister, so she cannot betray her. Rishi insists that only Jhanak has rights over his love.
The next day, Parashar tells Jhanak that she faces trouble everywhere and suggests leaving with him. Jhanak asks him to calm down. Dhamu claims city people will kill Jhanak, but she calls it an accident. Parashar scolds Rishi, who rudely tells him to stay quiet. Parashar warns Rishi about his tone. Aditi complains to the nurse, and Aniruddh asks the nurse to throw Parashar out.
Parashar reminds Aditi that he raised her for five years. Jhanak stops the argument. Aditi accuses Nutan of trying to sell Jhanak. Jhanak warns her not to insult Nutan again and tells Aniruddh he will soon see her real side. Sanjhbati arrives and asks Jhanak why she is not resting. Jhanak reveals she signed papers because of Aniruddh. Rishi announces that they should take Jhanak home. Aditi declares she will not return home if Jhanak goes with them. Rishi firmly says that is Aditi’s decision.
