The Episode begins with Jhanak comforting Anjana regarding Appu. Anjana expresses her desire to care for Appu and praises her kind heart, mentioning her willingness to do anything for the family. Jhanak assures Anjana that Appu will find a suitable partner and loving family. Anjana sincerely wishes Appu well-being and appreciates Jhanak and Choton’s trust. However, she laments that despite Choton’s talent in singing, he is not heard in the house. Later, Choton meets Mrinalini and speaks to the peon, reminding him not to disrespect him. The peon agrees to treat him with dignity from now on.
She asks Choton to come to the point after she arrives. He gives her the invitation. She asks what invitation. He lies about the Bose family. He says you come to Bose house, and they will call and talk to you, and you have to go for lunch and dinner. She says it is okay to talk to them politely, and they are a respectable family. Despite hearing that their youngest son couldn’t become a good person, he says they are good at heart. She taunts him.
Jhanak declares her plan to leave and return, only to be reminded by Anjana. Bipasha then arrives and requests Anjana to take care of the cake. Jhanak reaffirms her intention to depart now, prompting Bipasha to question her destination. Jhanak explains that she must purchase gifts and books before heading to Srinagar. Anjana interjects, mentioning her upcoming exams. This leads Bipasha to further inquire about Jhanak’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Choton and Mrinalini continue their heated discussion. She instructs him to inform their uncle while she makes her way there. Choton scoffs at his son’s incompetence, but Mrinalini argues that he is no better. He retorts that this is precisely why he appreciates his son, as he confides in him openly.
The dress was new to me. The dress was ordinary. Bipasha said it was Ani’s birthday, we didn’t tell him about the surprise party, Arshi was also coming. Jhanak agreed she must come. She argues with Anjana. Bipasha says you got this day to go out. She says she has to go out. She says I won’t wish Anirudh and won’t give him any gift. Choton says he will leave now. Mrinalini says, please go. Choton says yes, I’ll leave now. You don’t even ask for tea. She jokes on his face.
Jhanak explains that if her mother were alive, she would have given gifts to Arshi. To fulfill this obligation, I have taken the liberty of presenting a gift on her behalf. Bipasha agrees and assures that there is no need for a gift to be given to Ani. However, Jhanak asserts that if she receives an invitation, she will give him a gift as a matter of self-respect. In response, Bipasha states that they do not wish for Jhanak to return as neither Arshi nor anyone else in the family has any fondness towards him. On the other hand, Anjana reassures Jhanak of their liking for her but understands that she may not want to return if things are well. Jhanak shares her emotions about leaving behind her city and home and coming here, where she faces constant disrespect and humiliation. She clarifies that they will never have to see her again in this situation.
Bipasha and Jhanak both express positive sentiments. Jhanak heads to the café to meet Anirudh but faces inclement weather upon arrival. She searches for him until he arrives, and they share a special moment. The song “Dekha haazaaron dafa aapko” plays as Anirudh is captivated by Jhanak’s presence. He almost falls, but she catches him. Anirudh mentions his concern about the weather affecting her arrival, but Jhanak reassures him that she arrived early. They smile as Jhanak presents him with flowers and a birthday cake.
She says, “I know there’s still time for your birthday to begin.” Anirudh says, “It’s my real birthday. I feel something new. I mean, we are celebrating in a new way. Thanks for getting the bouquet. Thanks.” She says it’s getting stormy. He says it’s fine. I’ll treat you to something. He says, “I want to give you something special, but you’ll be leaving in a few days.” She thinks I’ll never come back because she says I promise.
