Jhanak 18th November 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Jhanak reminding Anirudh that he is married and Arshi is his wife. She tells him that Arshi must be worried and needs his support. Anirudh insists he only wants to talk to Jhanak. Brij watches silently as Anirudh begs Jhanak not to leave. She asks if he has ever cared about what she wants. He refuses to step away, saying he knows she hid behind Nutan’s identity to protect herself. He promises to handle everything and even stay with her if necessary. Jhanak firmly asks him to leave. Brij intervenes and requests Anirudh to give Jhanak some time. Anirudh apologises and agrees to leave, but vows to return the next day.
Meanwhile, Shrishti asks Arshi to save her home. Vinayak declares that a relationship requires effort from both partners. He says he tried to keep the family intact but Shrishti never wanted that. He announces that she can no longer stay in his house. Shrishti pleads, asking where she should go. Vinayak replies that she should first clear her name and then think of returning. Brij also tells Anirudh that he should not come until Jhanak allows him. Anirudh refuses, asking why he should be punished. Jhanak tells him to go home immediately. The two argue, and Anirudh breaks down, saying she does not love him. She reminds him she has already spoken the truth.
Anirudh cries and confesses his love for Jhanak. Brij explains that love also means sacrifice. He says Anirudh is already married and though Jhanak loves him, she will never break his home. He asks Anirudh to go back to Arshi, as his words are hurting everyone. Anirudh insists that everyone is trying to separate him from Jhanak but says he trusts his love. He leaves heartbroken.
Back at Vinayak’s house, Arshi defends her mother and says she cannot be thrown out at night. Vinayak agrees she can stay but declares she will never speak to him again. Arshi arranges the guestroom for Shrishti. Shrishti cries while Arshi admits she must face Anirudh, though she is unsure how. Vinayak blames Shrishti for the situation. Arshi refuses his help and leaves to face Anirudh alone. Shrishti insists that the truth will emerge and Vinayak will apologise one day. He replies that he would be glad if he were wrong, but since Brij and Jhanak are alive, she will gain nothing. He warns her that they will meet in court.
At home, Arshi and Anirudh confront each other. He blames Shrishti for her wrongdoings against Jhanak. Arshi reminds him that he once loved her. Anirudh admits that everything changed when he discovered Jhanak was alive and that there had been a conspiracy to kill her. He clarifies that Arshi was not responsible, but her mother was. Arshi accuses him of betraying her, but he argues that he was deceived by her family. He says Shrishti never revealed she had two daughters and even tried to harm Jhanak. Arshi insists the matter is about their relationship, but Anirudh points out how Shrishti controlled her and tried to manipulate him as well.
Their argument intensifies when Arshi says he loves Jhanak. Anirudh admits he cannot deny his love. Arshi says she will have no choice if he confirms this. She cries, saying her parents’ marriage is collapsing and now her relationship with him is breaking too. Anirudh replies that Jhanak needs him and that she never wishes to break anyone’s family. He praises Jhanak’s character, while Arshi feels overshadowed. He reminds her that Jhanak is her sister, though she always treated her as a maid. He asks her to accept the truth, but she refuses.
Elsewhere, the family discusses the matter. Shubh says Vinayak and Shrishti’s relationship has ended. Lal worries about Arshi’s mental state. Bipasha warns that Anirudh might create drama, while Shrishti confidently believes Anirudh’s heart will change. Shubh declares he will support Shrishti, though Tanuja warns that Vinayak can hire strong lawyers. Shubh insists he can fight back, and they all refuse to accept Jhanak.
Meanwhile, Brij and Jhanak have a heartfelt conversation. Brij says they cannot back down now. Jhanak points out that trusting Shrishti once only led to betrayal. Brij replies that trusting is better than not believing at all. Shubh, on the other hand, suggests Arshi should take Anirudh abroad to separate him from Jhanak. Bipasha recalls how Anirudh hugged Jhanak before everyone. Anjana arrives and defends Jhanak, leading to a clash with Tanuja and Bipasha.
Brij informs Jhanak that he has spoken to the lawyer and they must prepare for court. He insists that they will need Anirudh’s help. Jhanak refuses, saying she cannot break someone’s family. Brij assures her that Anirudh truly loves her and asks her to marry him so she will not suffer like Urvashi.
