The episode begins with Anirudh revealing to Jhanak that an ad agency wants her as the new face of their campaign. He admits he recommended her name but asked them not to mention him, knowing she might refuse otherwise. He wants her to succeed and become famous. Anirudh shares his feelings, saying he knows she’ll only meet Appu, Choton, Anjana, and Bablu—not him—and expresses his love for her. Jhanak breaks down, confessing that she loves him too but feels destined to stay away, even if it hurts forever.
Meanwhile, Mrinalini tells Choton she’s leaving, but Choton says he has something important to say. Dadi and Anjana tease them about getting close and talk about Choton’s lack of direction in life. Choton surprises everyone by saying he is considering marriage and becoming a family man. Dadi and Anjana joke about Meenu, saying she won’t marry him now, but Choton insists he still wants to marry the girl they liked. Meenu, however, remains silent, causing more confusion and amusement.
Elsewhere, Arshi notices Anirudh looking distant and questions him. He confesses he doesn’t feel well and leaves the packing to her. Aditya tells Jhanak that the creative director wants to speak with her, and during the call, the director praises Jhanak and credits Anirudh for the opportunity. Aditya is stunned to learn that Anirudh is shifting abroad in two days with his wife for a work project. Jhanak reacts strongly, asking the director not to mention Anirudh’s name again.
At Appu’s place, the Commissioner brings a special dish for her, which she happily accepts. He gets emotional seeing the family’s state and tells them that all the wealth Shubh now enjoys originally belonged to her husband. He vows to get it back and has already found a lawyer. Anuradha and Jhimli agree that they should fight back and prove their worth.
Back at the shoot preparations, Jhanak is clearly disturbed by the news of Anirudh’s departure. She pretends to be indifferent, telling Aditya that Anirudh will go on to live a successful life, have a family, and earn fame. Aditya tries to lighten the mood with a romantic song, but Arshi shuts it off, saying no more love songs.
Later, tensions rise again when Arshi taunts Anirudh, accusing him of not being loyal. He retorts, asking why she’s still with him. Arshi bitterly questions if he wants to return to Jhanak if she leaves him.
