The episode begins with Jhanak expressing her frustration to Chotan. She accuses him of deceiving her and bringing her to this place against her wishes. Chotan tries to calm her down and shares that he discussed the matter with Anirudh. However, Jhanak insists on being left alone and declines any help. She expresses her desire to leave immediately. Chotan reminds her that she can’t move forward with such negative emotions toward people who hold no significance in her life. He then shares his own experiences of mistreatment by his family but assures Jhanak that one day he will prove himself to them, just like she will have her time to shine. Anirudh interrupts their conversation and suggests they leave together.
Arshi inquired about the delay, to which you replied an hour. He explains that everyone is waiting for him at the office. She offers him some food. He declines, stating his unwavering dedication to work, and insists on paying for the meal. She notices his peculiar behavior and points out his stress. He admits to being anxious about the upcoming event but is grateful for the opportunity to spend time together. After settling the bill, he invites her to join him. However, she reminds him of his responsibilities at work and accuses him of trying to control Jhanak’s life. He clarifies that he only wants to help her and shares that he has already spoken to Jhanak’s husband, who couldn’t make it.
You have to take responsibility, Arshi says. He says he will return later. Jhanak can go there, but he says she is in danger. She says she doesn’t care. She leaves angrily. Jhanak recalls Brij’s words. Anirudh calls Chotan and asks if she has left. Chotan says yes, Guru ji told Jhanak something wrong, and she isn’t telling me. We will meet at the restaurant outside our house, then we will go.
He says Anirudh said he would drop us home, he’s waiting for us, maybe he’s going to talk to us. Don’t worry, it won’t take long. You cheated me, Jhanak says. He says you said that so quickly. They meet Anirudh. Jhanak asks what you want, do you want me to die? I’ll kill myself if you do not free me. Anirudh is shocked.
He inquires about the situation. She explains that these things can happen to someone like her, and she is not interested in seeking Brij’s help since he had taken her there. Anirudh then asks for more details about their conversation. She reveals that she told him that she never wants to see his face again. However, she admits that she is looking forward to the day he will chase after her, but she refuses to meet him. Anirudh advises Jhanak to stand by her words and not let this opportunity go to waste. He encourages her to prepare herself to face him on that day as he has taken immense risks for her. He assures her he only intends to see her succeed and wants to help her. She can trust him completely.
Arshi noticed Jhanak’s earring during rehearsals and brought it to Brij’s attention. Anirudh offered to ride Arshi home, but Jhanak asked Chotan to sit in the front seat instead. However, Chotan had some work to do and suggested that Jhanak take the front seat. Anirudh assured her that he only wanted what was best for her. Later, Shubh saw them arguing and wondered why they were still there. Meanwhile, Brij tried to deceive Arshi about the earring, claiming it probably belonged to a student. But she knew it was Jhanak’s and confronted him about it while Anirudh went to work. Feeling caught off guard, Jhanak got into a heated debate with Brij as Shubh watched from afar.
Arshi pointed out that I had seen the same earring on Jhanak’s ears. Brij advises her to relax. Arshi thinks I don’t understand. Jhanak says we have to lie to everyone. What will I tell them? Chotan asks her to come. She says she’s tired of lying. Anirudh says I’m tired of your arguments as well. Am I a liar? Remember what happened in Kashmir?
He says I was helpless and trapped. How can you put the entire blame on me? Good. What benefit do I have? Tell me. Chotan says it’s a public place, control. Anirudh says you make her explain, and I feel bad. Chotan says she is concerned, too. She wants to return to Kashmir. Rahul is her boyfriend, so she wants to go with him. Anirudh says I’m doing it for her.
He says Brij should get married to Anirudh soon since you both love each other a lot. She says yes, she will get married soon. Jhanak will be there. She’s staying at Anirudh’s house and says her mother might have told you. He agrees. She says Anirudh invited you to the event, he told me, we went to a restaurant, so I got late. Brij thinks about Anirudh.
Anirudh and Jhanak are all the talk of the town. Anirudh says Tejas will kidnap them and kill them. Jhanak asked if I had told Rahul that I was my boyfriend. I am not blind, I don’t care, I want you safe, you are my responsibility, so go home, I lied at the office and came here, you won’t see my sacrifice.
She is crying, Chotan says, don’t scold her. Anirudh says she doesn’t listen to me. Chotan says, stop crying, Jhanak, I’ll talk to everyone, don’t worry, come over. Appu argues. Shubh scolds her. Anjana comes. He scolds Anjana, also. He says sorry, Jhanak, I couldn’t control and scolded you, and I felt scolded too.
