The scene opens with Jhanak bringing food to Anirudh. He desires to eat it, acknowledging her efforts in making the dish. She reassures him and encourages him to enjoy the meal. Anirudh insists on having two plates, but Jhanak declines. However, she offers to join him instead. After eating, Anirudh realizes that Jhanak hasn’t had her meal and offers to feed her from the same plate. He kindly suggests they eat from one plate since there is no extra dish for Jhanak.

She asks him to have food. He eats it and likes the taste. He says wow, I’ll never forget this taste. She wondered if it was tasty; Mum taught me to make it. I will not be able to take care of you starting tomorrow, I have insulted you a lot, I misbehaved with you, I apologize. She says let it be. He asked did you do the packing. She replied I had to. He said you should take what I gave you. She replied she was taking what I gave you.

In response to his question, she says I wouldn’t want to come here if I am safe. He says I had great dreams for you, and I wanted you to become famous. In response, she says she wants peace. He asks if you can get it there. It’s my city. He says fine, I won’t bother you, but if you get into trouble… She says I will let you know. He says it’s enough to call you. Don’t worry, all the best in your new life. He says I don’t get it.

Her question is, Why are you saying that? He replies, “I don’t know.” She says don’t say anything that you can’t take back. He replies, “Fine, I didn’t say anything. I’ll keep it to myself. We will separate.” She says our paths were not one; we were helpless to marry. She asks him to have food. He asks her to stay happy. She promises him and asks if he will stay happy.

She inquires about your love for Arshi, your impending marriage, and why you’re making this statement. You confirm that there is no reason for you to feel downcast. She departs and ponders why you keep repeating the same thing. On the other hand, you regret not being able to express yourself fully. Despite everything, she wishes you nothing but happiness. She resolves never to return if you happen to be in Srinagar…but that is unnecessary. You anticipate her leaving tomorrow and the void it will leave in your life; all you can do is hope she remains content wherever she goes. Your mind drifts back to Jhanak and your first encounter, reminiscing about the journey that brought you together.

When he receives an inspector’s call, Bipasha hears him talking. He asks the police to arrive at the train station on time. He says Tejas will be waiting for Jhanak there. She thinks he has sympathy for Jhanak. I have to tell Shrishti. I’ll see who saves her. She leaves. The inspector turns and looks outside the window. He does not see her. Bipasha informs Shrishti.

The police officer is my cousin. He has assured her he will keep her safe. Shishti says, “I do not want to take any risks, so inform me.” Anirudh is sad. He thinks Jhanak will go forever. Will she stay happy and safe? He is getting married to Arshi. It’s my dream. Why do I feel upset? Jhanak should stay happy in her city, but I’ll support her. He cries.

There is a knock at the door. The person outside calls out Jhanak’s name but then realizes it wouldn’t make sense for her to be there. They open the door and see Jhanak standing there. She explained that she had something important to tell them and had no other option but to come at this late hour. She acknowledges that it may not have been appropriate to go to their room now, but she will leave tomorrow. She also mentions that she brought a gift for Arshi and one for them. Concerned about her spending money, they ask why she would do such a thing. She responds that money is meant to be spent and nothing could compare to their support. They urge her to keep her money safe in case she doesn’t return, as they can’t bear the thought of her missing their wedding. With tears in his eyes, the person tells her she is heartless.

In response to her question, he says nothing. She says I must leave at 4 am, and Choton will pick me up. He says I can drop you off. The family will scold you, she says. He says it’s okay, I can hear the scolding, I’ll bid you farewell and close this chapter. In response, she agrees. He says everything is over. She tells him I got the same gift for you and your wife. He says don’t take anyone’s name with me. She asks why. He checks the ring.

He comments that you received an expensive ring for me. She expresses that it pales compared to your efforts. Would you please wear it? He declines and suggests she keep it. She inquires why, as she bought it for him. He proposes she give it to her future husband instead, implying she is upset. She seeks clarification, and he affirms his previous statement. She concedes, advising him not to accept the ring as there may be some tension later. She regrets not giving it to him on the same day, and questions whether giving a gift is a crime now. He reassures her it is not. She explains that she purchased the ring for him and cannot simply give it away like he can with other people’s gifts.

Precap:

She says, “Don’t hurt Arshi.” He says, “Don’t give me Gyaan.” She leaves. He says, “I can’t live without Jhanak.” He starts crying.
