Jhanak 2nd December 2024 Written Episode begins with Anirudh and Jhanak rushing Brij to the hospital. Jhanak speaks to her father emotionally, pleading with him to hold on. The doctor checks Brij while Anirudh anxiously watches the monitor and exchanges a tense glance with Choton. He asks Jhanak to stay calm, but she breaks down, crying that she cannot live without her father. She keeps begging Brij to open his eyes, but there is no response. Choton tries to comfort her, saying they are all with her. Jhanak desperately questions the doctor, who regretfully says they can do nothing more. Shocked, she refuses to believe him and pleads for another attempt to save her father. The doctor finally declares that Brij is no more. Jhanak screams in disbelief and cries uncontrollably.
Choton assures Jhanak that she can stay with them, but Bablu worries it might create problems. Choton insists they cannot abandon her. Jhanak, consumed by grief, cries that her father was murdered. Anirudh holds her and swears he will find whoever is responsible, promising justice. Jhanak asks bitterly if that will bring her father back, still unable to accept his death.
Meanwhile, Vinayak confronts Shrishti, accusing her of repeatedly trying to harm Jhanak. She denies the allegations, saying nothing has been proven. Vinayak says the production boy has confessed everything and that she will face punishment. He scolds her for showing no remorse for Brij’s death and announces that he is going to meet Jhanak. After he leaves, Shrishti coldly remarks that Brij’s death brings her relief and that only one problem remains.
At the event, Lalon and Appu are present while Kajal is called to the stage. She introduces them warmly and praises both Lalon and Appu. Appu smiles proudly as Kajal shares stories from their lives.
Back at the hospital, Choton and Bablu try to console Jhanak, who sobs that her dreams with her father are shattered and she has nowhere to go. Bablu asks her to come with them, but she refuses. Anirudh reminds her that Brij entrusted her responsibility to him and that his word will be final. She hesitates but listens.
Appu tells Kajal that she is her friend. Kajal speaks about Lalon’s struggles, defending his dignity and determination. Meanwhile, Anirudh assures Jhanak once more that he will get her justice. Choton takes charge of hospital formalities and says he will file a police report, adding that they must request a post-mortem since the death was suspicious. Jhanak resists, saying her father endured enough pain already. Anirudh explains that the procedure is necessary to catch the culprits. Choton agrees, warning that backing out now would allow the killers to go free. Bablu supports the decision.
Anirudh asks Jhanak to come home with him, but she refuses, saying she wants to stay with her father. She hugs Brij’s body tightly and weeps. At the concert, Kajal continues praising Appu, while Jhimli interrupts with rude remarks until Anuradha tells her to leave.
Anirudh tells Jhanak that the last rites can only happen after the post-mortem, which will take two days, and that they should return home for now. Choton urges her to stay strong, but she says she has no strength left. He reassures her that they are all by her side. She asks Anirudh to drop her home instead of taking her to his. Bablu insists she cannot stay alone. Anirudh says Arshi’s mother is likely involved in Brij’s murder and that although Arshi’s family will create drama, he will handle it. Jhanak says she cannot face another storm. Anirudh insists that if she does not go with them, he will stay with her himself.
Arshi calls Anirudh and demands to know when he will return. He replies sharply that he is not wasting time and will come when he can. Kajal, meanwhile, tells the audience that Appu is part of the Bose family and introduces Lalon. She explains that Lalon agreed to sing only to overcome his financial struggles, as he values his self-respect deeply. She praises Appu’s purity and kindness, calling her the embodiment of love. The crowd applauds. Appu notices Lalon crying and asks why. He says something got into his eyes, but she lovingly holds his hand, saying she will take away his pain.
Arshi continues to argue with Anirudh on the phone, declaring that Jhanak cannot come to their home. Anirudh cuts her off, saying he has no time for such talks. When he turns back, Jhanak tells him that her enemies won’t kill her directly—they will destroy the people she loves, just as they took her mother and father. Choton assures her they will protect her.
Kajal finishes her speech about how difficult it was to convince Lalon to perform. Jhanak insists she will stay in her house with her father’s memories. Anirudh agrees but says he will stay with her, as she has no other option. Jhanak snaps back, asking who he is to make decisions for her. Choton and Bablu try to calm her down. Anirudh promises he will never leave her side again. Bablu and Choton leave sadly, watching as Anirudh holds Jhanak’s hand and leads her out. He quietly says he will never let go of her hand.
