Jhanak 3rd December 2025 Written Update begins with Jhanak mistaking a stranger outside the house for a thief. The man, who turns out to be Dritimaan, listens to her speak and immediately realises she is from a village. He asks why the house is decorated. Jhanak firmly replies that he must be a thief if he knows nothing about the function. She warns him that he has walked into the wrong house. She even calls the servant and asks him to bring a rope to tie him up.

Dritimaan plays along and tells her she has caught him, so he will not act oversmart. He asks whether today is Rishi’s wedding. Jhanak is shocked. She quickly corrects him and says today is Dadabhai and Indumati’s fortieth wedding anniversary. She adds that he is clearly new to stealing since he entered through the front door. The servant brings the rope and Jhanak ties Dritimaan before taking a wooden stick as extra protection. She sends the servant to bring Rishi immediately.

Inside the house, Aditi asks Aniruddh why he did not bring Anjana for the ceremony. He explains that Anjana is unwell. Bablu adds that she is resting. Aditi asks why no one informed her earlier. Bablu says they thought Anjana would feel better soon.

Back outside, Dritimaan hears the festive music and tells Jhanak that he sings well. He begins singing the song Mitwaa, and Jhanak is stunned by his voice. She even starts enjoying his singing. Rishi arrives after hearing about the supposed thief and is shocked to see who it really is.

Rishi calls him Dadabhai, leaving Jhanak and Aditi stunned. The entire family gathers, emotional and overwhelmed. Tanushri says she always believed Dritimaan would return. Rishi quickly unties him and asks who tied him. Jhanak admits she did. Rishi scolds her by calling her foolish, then hugs Dritimaan tightly. Aditi asks Jhanak what she was doing.

Neelu cries as she asks Dritimaan where he had been all this time. Abhimanyu asks why he left without informing anyone. Dritimaan takes his father’s blessings. Dadabhai hugs him with pride and relief, saying he finally remembered his family. Indumati hugs him and breaks down. Surjeet asks him about his wife and children.

Sanjhbati enters and is shocked to see Dritimaan. Dritimaan looks at her silently, but she says she will leave so the family can reunite peacefully. Rishi asks her to stay, saying she is part of the family. Jhanak also tells her she belongs there. Sanjhbati insists on going, but Dritimaan stops her and says she cannot leave without listening to him. He holds her hand and takes her inside.

Later, Aniruddh asks Dritimaan why he left his parents if he wanted to marry someone else. Rishi quickly interrupts and tells Aniruddh not to interfere in family matters. Dritimaan tells Sanjhbati he will explain everything to her, and she can decide afterwards whether she wants to stay.

In Simulboni, Kanka urges Parashar to go to a doctor or to Jhanak because of his fever. Parashar insists he is fine. Kanka complains that he only listens to Nutan, not to her. Dhamu arrives with Lochan, who thanks Parashar for helping his father in the past. Parashar asks about Lochan’s grandfather, and Lochan replies that he passed away last year.

Meanwhile, the police inspector reports to his senior that he still has not located Parashar. The senior officer scolds him. Lochan calls the senior and shares everything that happened. The inspector returns and apologises to Parashar. Kanka immediately tells Parashar to run. Dhamu promises to handle everything and instructs Parashar to escape. Parashar runs away just as another inspector arrives asking about him. Dhamu denies knowing anything.

At home, Ayush calls Jhanak and asks why she did not come to college. He tells her what he heard from others. Jhanak says she knows many students dislike her. Ayush asks if she is staying at Rishi’s house and whether she feels safe there. Jhanak says she is safe. Ayush admits he was worried about her. Rishi arrives and overhears the conversation.

Ayush tells her that Mishti and some students are plotting against her. Rishi assumes Ayush is trying to turn Jhanak against his family and walks away angrily. Dev comes in and questions Ayush about being on the call after college hours. He takes the phone from Ayush and tells Jhanak to speak later.

Ayush asks Jhanak to take care of herself. Dev suspects Ayush has feelings for her. After Ayush leaves for the hostel, Dev calls Mishti, thinking he must handle things from the principal’s side. Jhanak recalls Ayush’s warning about Mishti and begins to feel uneasy.

Aditi tells Rishi they should prepare for Dritimaan and Sanjhbati’s wedding. Rishi realises he loves Jhanak the way Dritimaan loves Sanjhbati. Aditi quietly starts planning something against Jhanak.
