Jhanak 5th December 2025 Written Update begins with Dadabhai and Indumati performing their wedding rituals. The family watches with joy as Abhimanyu says he is truly happy today. Tanushri suggests taking a family trip together. Neelu praises the idea. Surjeet reminds them that preparations for Dritimaan and Sanjhbati’s wedding must start soon, but Tanushri says the trip can happen first. She then remarks that once Sanjhbati enters the house, Dadabhai will forget all about Jhanak. She also wonders why Aditi has suddenly begun defending Jhanak so much.

Payal says Aditi is mature, so she must have her reasons. Surjeet asks everyone to stop discussing Jhanak on such a special day. He says they have enough to celebrate, including Dritimaan’s return and Sanjhbati agreeing to marry him. Abhimanyu says he is relieved that Dritimaan never married abroad. Tanushri comments that Dadabhai and Indumati look very happy.

Meanwhile, Dritimaan tells Sanjhbati he has much to share. Sanjhbati says she has forgotten everything she planned to tell him. He encourages her to speak. She asks why he suffered alone and why he never contacted her after leaving. She says she could not move on after his betrayal. Dritimaan says he will give her everything she lost over the years. Sanjhbati reminds him that he broke his promise and that her heart shattered when she believed he married abroad.

Dritimaan explains that he created that lie so she would move on. But she continued waiting. Sanjhbati asks what if she had married someone else. Dritimaan tells her that they belong only to each other. She tells him to go inside, but he says he wants to see only her. When she insists they should join Dadabhai and Indumati’s ceremony, he asks her directly whether she will marry him. She replies she has no answer.

He says he will speak to her mother about their marriage. Sanjhbati asks what will happen if her mother refuses. Dritimaan pulls her close and says he will marry her no matter what. Sanjhbati says he still talks like he did in the past. Dritimaan then asks about Jhanak, and she explains how Rishi and Jhanak were forced to marry in Simulboni. She says Rishi later married Aditi after divorcing Jhanak, but Rishi and Jhanak still love each other, while Jhanak now wants to focus on her studies. She takes him inside.

Inside the hall, Aniruddh tells Aditi that Dritimaan and Sanjhbati’s marriage will be the next big event. Arshi says it will be a grand celebration. Aditi agrees, saying they waited for many years. Arshi remarks that there is a huge difference between Rishi and Dritimaan. Aniruddh again questions why Aditi defends Jhanak so much. Aditi jokes that supporting Jhanak helps her get Rishi’s attention. Arshi advises her not to forget their plan. Aniruddh says he cannot tolerate Jhanak. Aditi smiles and assures Arshi she has not forgotten anything. Arshi then shares her scheme with Aditi.

Elsewhere, Anjana remembers Arshi’s insults. Bablu tells her Aditi misses her a lot. He also informs her that Jhanak is staying in Aditi’s house and urges her to visit both Aditi and Jhanak. Anjana refuses, saying Jhanak will surely be insulted there, and she cannot tolerate that. Bablu apologises for not looking after her properly. Anjana finally agrees to visit for Aditi’s sake.

At the ceremony, Rishi records the rituals. He notices Jhanak and takes photos of her. Jhanak sees him. Dadabhai and Indumati take their pheras. Rishi approaches Jhanak and says everyone is happy, except her. Jhanak asks why he thinks she is unhappy. Rishi says love should always be the base of marriage and begins speaking about their own marriage. Jhanak stops him, saying he is insulting Aditi by bringing up such a topic now. She reminds him that she would have been humiliated if anyone had seen them together at the wrong moment.

Rishi gently asks whether she loves him. Jhanak freezes and asks what kind of question this is. Rishi says her answer can change everything, and he will find peace only after hearing it. Jhanak asks whether Aditi does not love him. Rishi says Aditi does love him, but he loves Jhanak. Jhanak tells him he already knows her feelings. Rishi says he wants to hear it from her.  Aditi overhears everything.

In Simulboni, Parashar continues hiding from the police. Dhamu suggests arranging food. Parashar says they should first find a place to stay. The police continue searching, and the inspector announces that Parashar must not escape under any circumstances.

Jhanak closes Aditi’s jewel boxes and hands her the key. Later, Mishti tells Aditi that her friends want to stay and watch the drama unfold. Aditi silently agrees.
