The episode begins with Jhanak emotionally telling Anirudh that she wants to leave. It is her father’s shraadh and she wants to spend the day remembering him. Anirudh asks if she plans to leave him as well. He reminds her that injustice was done to her father and she needs the courage to fight for him. She agrees that she cannot abandon the culprits and thanks him for bringing her back to her purpose.
Elsewhere, Shrishti strongly claims that Arshi is her only daughter. Vinayak refuses to accept her denial, stating that everyone knows the truth, including the fact that she wronged Brij. Their argument intensifies as he accuses her of causing Brij’s death. Shrishti firmly denies it.
Arshi breaks down, unable to believe Anirudh could betray her. Tanuja consoles her and asks her not to lose hope.
Vinayak vents his frustrations, accusing Shrishti of poisoning Arshi’s mind and being more concerned with status than motherhood. He declares that he is willing to adopt Jhanak if needed and will no longer tolerate Shrishti’s behaviour.
Meanwhile, Tanuja and Shubh observe that they have left Jhanak with no choice but to leave after the rituals. Tanuja feels relieved that they have finally cornered her.
Jhanak sits in pain and grief, and Appu comforts her. Vinayak arrives to support her and says she can always come to him without hesitation. He promises to help her get justice for her parents. Jhanak becomes emotional and expresses her gratitude.
Dadi tells Jhanak to pray for her father. Bablu says they cannot force her to stay if she wants to leave. Bipasha taunts that Arshi has chosen to be there despite everything. Choton reminds Jhanak she does not have to thank the family for basic decency.
Anirudh asks her directly when she plans to go. She replies that she will leave soon and needs to book her ticket. Bipasha sarcastically tells her to become a star when she returns. Jhanak says she simply wants to work and does not care for fame.
Bablu blesses her and asks her to complete the shraadh rituals. She performs them with a heavy heart.
Arshi announces that Aditya has arrived. Bipasha pretends to be shocked and asks why Jhanak did not inform them. Jhanak insists she had no idea he was coming.
Aditya states that he had to come because Jhanak is not in a good emotional state. He reveals he has organised an important function the next day and wants her presence. Shubh calls him an idiot under his breath. Tanuja pretends it was a pleasant surprise.
When someone asks if it is his birthday, Aditya says it is something similar and reveals that he and Jhanak will be leaving together. He cryptically adds that all answers will be given at tomorrow’s event.
He approaches Jhanak and tells her they will leave after her father’s rituals. Jhanak looks confused but does not react openly. Bipasha whispers that the real drama is about to start.
Shubh asks who called Aditya. Tanuja reveals it was Bipasha who messaged him from Jhanak’s phone, pretending Jhanak wished to marry him. Their plan is to trap Jhanak and force her out. If she denies it, they have messages as proof. They believe it is best if Aditya marries her.
Tanuja wishes Anirudh would finally understand what is happening. Arshi senses something is wrong and feels Anirudh looks disturbed.
Jhanak tells Aditya she is glad he came. He encourages her not to cry and promises to take care of everything. Appu takes her away.
Anirudh confronts Aditya, saying he did not need to interfere. Aditya hints that Jhanak wants stability. Anirudh is shocked when Aditya claims that Jhanak wants to settle down with him.
