The episode begins with Lalon and Appu exchanging garlands, while Dadi reminds Lalon to always take care of Appu. Lalon reassures her, and Jhimli excitedly mentions how much fun they will have at home. Appu happily agrees. Dadi then calls them to the mandap. Anjana becomes emotional, realizing that Appu will be leaving their home. Bablu comforts her, assuring her that Appu will be happy in her new life. However, she expresses disappointment over Shubh’s past behavior, wishing he had shown love to Appu earlier.
As Appu and Lalon take their seats in the mandap, Appu insists that Jhanak stay by her side. Jhanak promises that she won’t leave, and Appu makes her seal the promise. Meanwhile, Mimi and Rumi discuss Jhanak and Arshi. Lalon wonders where Jhanak is, and Jhanak, in turn, expresses her affection for Appu, calling herself her younger sister. Dadi asks them to focus on the wedding rituals.
Just then, the police arrive at the house. Bablu, surprised, asks about the matter, and the inspector demands to see Lalon. Lalon reassures Appu not to worry and steps forward. Bipasha and others observe the situation keenly. The inspector announces Lalon’s arrest, shocking everyone. Jhimli protests, arguing that the wedding hasn’t even taken place yet. Shubh intervenes, asking for details. The inspector states that Lalon has been accused of theft.
Shubh pretends to be surprised, and the inspector reveals the location where the alleged theft occurred. Lalon vehemently denies any wrongdoing. Sensing trouble, Jhimli quickly calls Anuradha, urging her to bring Kajal. Jhanak steps in to defend Lalon, but the inspector insists they have an arrest warrant. Jhimli informs Anuradha about the situation, and she promises to come immediately. Meanwhile, Lalon tries to reason with the police, claiming he has always lived an honest life.
Shrishti, however, uses this opportunity to instill doubt, questioning whether Arshi would still want to marry a thief. She tells Arshi that Lalon is not trustworthy. Lalon retaliates, asking Arshi not to speak without knowing the truth. Anirudh also steps in, asserting that Lalon is innocent. The inspector, however, maintains that they must proceed with the arrest.
A devastated Appu cries out that Lalon is not guilty. Lalon, determined, confronts Shubh and accuses him of orchestrating the situation. Shubh denies any involvement, pretending to support the marriage. Lalon, however, stands firm, insisting he has never been involved in any crime.
Anuradha and Kajal arrive, pleading with the inspector to reconsider. Anuradha defends Lalon, explaining that his father was a respected lawyer who was betrayed by his associates, leaving them in their current situation. She asserts that she raised Lalon and Jhimli with strong morals, and they would never resort to theft. However, the inspector remains adamant, warning against interference in police work.
Kajal takes a firm stand and rallies the local residents to protest against the unjust arrest. The people threaten to take action against the police station if Lalon is taken away. The inspector warns them not to obstruct legal proceedings. Meanwhile, a distressed Appu clutches the sindoor and insists on accompanying Lalon. In response, Lalon solemnly fills Appu’s maang with sindoor, officially completing their marriage.
Anirudh questions the case details, but Shubh tries to dissuade him from interfering. Anirudh, however, insists on knowing the truth. Tanuja assures him that the police will eventually release Lalon. Anirudh then tells Arshi that she can leave with her mother if she wants, but he must stay to resolve this matter.
Appu anxiously asks if the police will harm Lalon, and Chhoton assures her that no one can be labeled a criminal without evidence. Jhanak reinforces the importance of knowing their legal rights. As Lalon is taken away, the family and well-wishers insist on accompanying him to the police station.
