The episode begins with a voiceover discussing the significance of cinema in Mumbai. Jubilee Talkies is then shown, and a reporter mentions that fans eagerly anticipate Ayaan Grover’s arrival, an iconic figure in Indian cinema. Ayaan appears and speaks to the reporters, accompanied by his mother, who proudly claims him as her son. Meanwhile, Shivangi watches Ayaan’s interview and is impressed by it. She later opens the gate to Sangam Cinema and reminisces about her father taking her there as a child to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. Determined to restore the cinema to its former glory, she diligently works on cleaning up the place, vowing not to give up until her vision becomes reality.
The man requests a single ticket, to which Shivangi reminds him that Ayaan’s movie is coming out tomorrow and suggests he purchase his ticket in advance. She notices only a few people in the theater, so she takes the initiative to fix the damaged door before starting the movie. As she thinks about her father, Shivangi also observes children playing outside. Suddenly, she hears commotion and realizes her mother is involved in a fight with some men. Without hesitation, she rushes to intervene. The man who was initially asking for a ticket scolds the group of men and demands they leave her family alone. Eventually, someone comes and diffuses the situation by giving them their money back. He firmly instructs them to no longer bother “Vahini” (Shivangi’s sister-in-law) and niece. Shivangi also urges the men to stop causing trouble.
She returns the money to her uncle Chandu Kaka. She asks him to take her vehicle for a week, and she’ll return the money and get it back. She pastes Ayaan’s posters on the car. She asks him to do the publicity for her Sangam. Chandu receives a call and worries. Shivangi leaves. He says you can’t handle this, and the corporation is ready to buy it. He says I’ve come to help; I’m not your enemy; how long will you guys live on loans? How long will you live on loans for so long?
Shivangi’s mother adamantly refuses to sell the cinema, proclaiming that it’s their dream and they cannot give it up. When asked what Sangam had given her, Shivangi replies with the determination that the cinema is her home – where she was born and raised – and she will not let anyone else take ownership of it. She confidently states that everything will fall into place with Ayaan’s film. However, Chandu harshly suggests they die instead. Shivangi engages in a heated argument with her mother, who suddenly collapses onto the ground. Worriedly, Shivangi rushes over to check on her well-being. Surprisingly, her mother starts laughing, and they begin a conversation. Suddenly, her mother clutches her chest in pain, and Shivangi accuses her of faking illness once again. But this time, her mother falls unconscious as people gather around to assist.
Shivangi becomes frightened upon seeing her mother’s state and rushes to her side. She takes her to the hospital, where the doctor reveals that her fainting episode was due to weakness and her heart’s condition is poor. The doctor also suggests a pacemaker surgery within six months, costing approximately 3 lakhs, with an advance deposit of 1 lakh. Shivangi expresses her determination not to lose her mother and assures her that she will gather the required amount within a week. With that, she leaves to make arrangements. Aai inquires about the doctor’s assessment, urging Shivangi to tell her the truth. Shivangi explained the upcoming surgery, and Aai asked how they would gather one lakh within a week. Shivangi suggests having faith in their devotion and believes that when Ayaan’s movie releases, it will provide them with the necessary funds.
Shivangi hangs up Ayaan’s posters, drawing a crowd to his movie at the cinema. As Chandu observes, he heads over to meet with Yadav and boasts about his previous warning being ignored by the audience as they continue to flock to see Ayaan’s film. Yadav remains determined, but Aai suggests they should watch the movie for themselves. Meanwhile, Shivangi manages the film screening until Chandu and Yadav arrive later in the evening. The hired thugs retrieved kerosene bottles from their car and set fire to the theatre. Amidst enjoying the movie and snacking on popcorn, Shivangi is shocked by the flames and screams in response.
