They call Naina to join them, and soon Prerna arrives as well. Charu advises Katha to be cautious around Chandrika while she is staying in the house. Shikha explains that according to their family tradition, the bride and groom are not allowed to see each other’s faces for a whole day after the wedding. Katha nods and agrees to follow the ritual faithfully.
As she looks around, Katha notices the room’s messy state and asks why it is so disorganised. Charu laughs and says it’s UV’s room and since he’s a chef, it often looks like a creative mess. Charu then offers Katha a dish made by UV, but Katha refuses, saying she doesn’t want to eat anything from him. Deep down, she believes UV is only pretending to care about her, which irritates her further.
Just then, UV enters the room carrying ointment for her injured foot. Startled, Katha quickly covers her face with her veil and scolds him for breaking their ritual. She firmly refuses his help and the ointment. UV feels confused and a little frustrated by her cold behaviour. Charu notices UV’s concern and playfully teases him, saying he is already acting like a caring husband. Katha silently thinks UV is just ruining their post-wedding customs with unnecessary drama.
Trying to mask his feelings, UV sarcastically tells Katha that he brought the ointment only to ensure she doesn’t file a complaint against him for negligence later. He then leaves the room, visibly annoyed. Charu, Shikha, Naina, and Prerna insist that Katha should apply the ointment, but she refuses, saying she will use a home remedy instead — a paste made from cabbage and turmeric. She recalls using the same remedy recently for Eshwar’s injury.
Shikha admits she doesn’t know if there’s any cabbage in the kitchen. Naina and Prerna go to check, only to discover there isn’t any. They inform Shikha, while Prerna later discusses Katha’s remedy idea with Pratty. They decide to buy cabbage from the market. Pari overhears the conversation and rushes to inform UV that everyone is trying to fulfil Katha’s strange demand for cabbage.
Feeling guilty for troubling everyone, Katha decides to find it herself. On her way to the kitchen, she stops at the family temple and prays sincerely for strength — asking for peace in her marriage and harmony between both families.
Meanwhile, UV is on a business call with Sandy, discussing the progress of his Singapore café project. He notices Katha’s injured foot again and worries that she needs proper treatment, though she refuses to listen. Pari then tells UV about the family’s desperate efforts to find cabbage for Katha. Pratty suggests that since UV’s café always has fresh vegetables, he could take Katha there to get it. UV initially refuses, saying it’s unnecessary, but Shlok playfully convinces him by twisting the situation, and Pratty joins in to pressure him further. Finally, UV agrees.
Naina and Prerna encourage Katha to go with UV despite her hesitation, saying it will help ease the tension between them. Reluctantly, Katha agrees, and the family feels relieved to see them leaving together.
On their way to the café, UV gets irritated when Katha criticises his café, saying it’s too overrated. He warns her to stay quiet and not make things worse. He also tells her to remove her veil, explaining that people might misunderstand if she keeps her face covered in public. When they finally reach the café, UV unlocks the door and pauses for a moment, remembering Katha’s harsh words from the past — when she once swore to shut down his café. The memory stings, and he looks visibly hurt. Katha stands quietly, hesitating to step inside, sensing the emotional distance between them.
