UV gets furious and warns her to keep quiet, but she stands her ground, stating the café is a problem because it is within the campus. UV mocks his cousins and tries to argue, but the inspector stops the matter. His friends convince him to leave, though he threatens Katha before walking off.

Back at home, UV tries to enter the Jindal house but is stopped by Eshwar. Rukhmani questions Eshwar, and a servant hands him an aarti plate. Eshwar performs UV’s aarti in a mocking tone, indirectly taunting his mother. While Rukhmani scolds him, UV recalls Eshwar’s promise and steps inside. The cousins inform Rukhmani about UV’s time in jail and the café closure, leaving her in tears. Eshwar, however, hides his pain behind harsh criticism of UV’s reckless ways.

Meanwhile, Mohan grows anxious waiting for Katha. When she returns, she lies to him, but convinces him to trust her. Later, Mangla arrives with others, furious about the college incident. UV later asks Mr. Agarwal to arrange a meeting with the college board. Soon after, his detective informs him that his mother, Sheetal, is alive and staying in an old age home. UV becomes emotional and wants to visit her immediately, but the detective advises patience. UV reluctantly agrees, holding on to the hope of reuniting with his mother.
