The episode opens with Katha gently asking Naina what’s troubling her, encouraging her to share her feelings. Before Naina can answer, her aunt storms in angrily, accusing her of eloping on her wedding day and bringing shame to the family. The aunt demands she leave immediately. Heartbroken, Naina agrees, but Katha steps in, pleading for understanding. The aunt refuses, citing the family’s humiliation. Despite the tension, Katha turns to Mohan and Vandana, urging them to let Naina stay. Mohan agrees, touched by Katha’s words, but Vandana leaves coldly after scolding Naina.

At the Jindal house, Eshwar demands kheer instead of milk but is told he needs Rukhmani’s permission. Irritated, he scolds the servant. Just then, the grandchildren rush toward UV’s room shouting “code red.” Eshwar complains to Rukhmani about their unruly behaviour before storming off. Rukhmani calmly authorises the kheer.

Meanwhile, UV reveals a plan to his cousins—he intends to trap Katha in a love game as revenge for her insults. He asks cousin Pratty, a police officer, to dig up information about her. Pratty hesitates but eventually agrees after UV and the others persuade her.

Later, Katha writes in her diary about Naina and their complicated relationship. Naina arrives sneezing, prompting Katha to fetch some kadha. While alone, Naina recalls the abuse from her husband Tejas, and tears up. When Katha returns, she comforts her, advising her to speak up or confide in her plants rather than suffer in silence. Naina praises Katha, saying her future husband will be lucky, but Katha insists she will never marry, still haunted by her father’s betrayal and her mother’s suicide. Naina reminds her of her mother’s upcoming birthday, and Katha decides to visit the temple to prepare for it—unaware that Pratty is secretly watching and updating UV.

UV convinces his cousins to dress up as beggars for their scheme. At first reluctant, they eventually agree.

Katha speaks to her late mother’s photo, lost in emotion. Naina tries to lighten the mood, offering to accompany her to the temple, but Katha says she’ll go with Prerna. She overhears Mohan and Vandana quarrelling and assures them she is fine, ending their yearly argument before leaving.

Elsewhere, Vinith voices his concerns to Ambika, who insists he join her for a secret meeting with Mr. Bansal without Eshwar knowing. They spot UV and the cousins dressed as beggars but Ambika stops Vinith from confronting them.

At the temple, Katha is stunned to see UV mingling among the disguised beggars as part of his plot.
