Amrita is standing by the window when she asks her mother to also apply the Gajra on her hair, she asks Amrita to not leave without having breakfast, Amrita sits on the chair when she gets a call from Virat who asks her to come here as he needs her support. Seeing his entire family staring at him, Virat instantly tells Amrita that he needs her to work on financial matters.
After ending the call, Virat wonders why Amrita still agreed to the job and what might be the reason for it, as her mother continues to ask where she is going. Bhawani calls Amrita to tell her that she did not eat breakfast and what about her health, and Amrita says everything is fine and leaves.
Nirmat is at her desk when Babita reveals that the family necklace is meant for her. Curious, Nirmat shows it to Dadi who compliments how well it suits her. However, Nirmat worries if it will look good against her dark complexion and suggests they gift it to Nimrit instead. Babita agrees, reasoning that it will show the groom’s family how much they care for Nimrit. To Nirmat’s surprise, Babita reminds her that the tradition states the brother and sister-in-law must fulfill the ritual, but Virat is still single.
A lot of families have the groom’s side perform the ritual, so Dadi says Nimrit shouldn’t be concerned. Babita is happy that the Shekwats will attend the function and see how the Ahujas celebrate the festival, as Dadi says she knew Babita would do something different, but she didn’t know what it would be about. She replies that she hasn’t done anything on her own, just doing what Guru Ji told her, as today the girl who will be Virat’s partner will come in.
Upon entering Virat’s house, Amrita explains that she will politely inquire as to why he did not fire her. The worker asks Amrita where to put the dupatta. As Babita asks the worker to place all of the gifts here, Nimrit tells her that if the wedding of Virat is set today, her future sister in law would make her wear the dupatta. Babita wonders where to put the dupatta. Nimrit tells Babita that it is her wedding and Virat will get all the attention when she leaves.
Dadi inquires about Babita’s impatience to attend Nimrit’s wedding, to which Babita expresses her belief that Virat should also find a partner. She also shares her concern about a girl from the A wing who is constantly around Virat. Dadi assures Babita that there is no need to worry as the girl is not suitable for Virat and would not be allowed in their family. Just then, Amrita arrives at the door and hesitantly calls out to Babita before explaining that the worker had given her the dupatta.
Fuming, Babita marches over to her and snatches the dupatta from her grasp. She instructs Amrita to go check on the decorations, but Amrita reminds her that she is a banker and can assist with any task. Babita demands that she instead go find out the cost of the event, as they need to demand fifty percent from the groom’s family. If they refuse, they will file a case. With frustration, Babita heads back to the room and scolds Amrita for touching the dupatta, which is only meant for the mother of the bride. She expresses her disapproval while Dadi looks on contemplatively.
After entering the house, Virat is amazed at the decoration and asks what flowers were used. The worker says they do not have the scent, but Virat is amazed by the scent, which is getting stronger and stronger as he watches. Virat keeps staring at Amrita but then scolds the worker who leaves, telling Shekar that he will get mad if he does not get an appointment with the doctor. Virat then compliments Nimrit and takes a selfie with her while Shekar interrupts them to reveal a surprise decoration. As everyone admires the decor, Virat suggests starting the dance as part of the celebration. Babita and her father join Nimrit in the center while the rest of the family dances around them, all enjoying the festivities together.
Rajiv’s family enters when Virat asks them to enter, so they go to welcome them. The decorator asks Amrita if the bill has been finalized. As she checks the bill, Amrita becomes dizzy. Amrita then calls Shekar to find out if everything is fine. She says she will take a drink as she is a bit dizzy, and when Shekar orders Madhun to bring Amrita a glass of water, he leaves, confirming that Madhun will deliver the water to Amrita.
After Madhun pours the water, Dadi asks him who he is taking it for, Dadi sees Amrita, but then scolds Madhun, asking if he didn’t realize which glass their servants drink the water in. She says Madhun should give her the steel glass with the water.
Amrita asks Madhun to also have the water as he will be thirsty but Madhun replies he is fine, but Amrita says that she will receive some blessings as well, Shekar stops Amrita from saying it is fine and asks Madhun to rest after drinking the water. She says that in their family, they don’t care about status and that it’s better to drink the water in a metal glass, but only educated people can understand it.
As Shekar points to Amrita, he tells Virat she doesn’t seem okay because she hasn’t recovered from what happened last night. Virat tells him that she got back the job and can’t leave without his mother’s permission. Shekar reveals that she is actually unwell when Virat sends him away telling him the function has a lot of work to do.
As Amrita sits working, the workers approach her with a tray of food, requesting that she stand up. However, she declines. This causes Virat to question if she would also deny him, causing tension between them. He then directs her to clear the table, to which Amrita questions the purpose of all this. Virat clarifies that he is aware of her skills as a baker and wants her to taste the food before it is served to their guests. Despite his explanation, Amrita is hesitant. Virat reminds her that she cannot leave without his mother’s approval and emphasizes that they both need each other in this situation.
In response to Amrita’s question regarding what she should try first, Virat decides on the glass of juice. He says he’s the one training her, so she gets a hiccup, Virat explains they need to drink water while eating, and he thinks she wouldn’t attack him if she died of hunger. As Amrita drinks the water, Virat stares at her, and he leaves when she starts looking at him again.
In response to Mr. and Misses Kholi’s introduction of their daughter Sanjana, Babita is unable to stop praising her when she says that even Babita is looking very pretty when she says that Ahuja’s taste is superb. They start searching for Virat after Misses Kholi appreciates that Babita invited them to the function of her daughter when she said they hadn’t met her son Virat and were sure they would like him.
Because Amrita will handle everything here, she asks the workers to rest. Since she got to eat while tasting the food, she thinks Virat should be thanked, Virat says she’s a selfish girl, so many people would’ve said that to her. He says he’s done so much for her, but she hasn’t even thanked him.
