In the opening scene, Adi confesses to Kavya that he fully understands the gravity of his actions and acknowledges that he doesn’t deserve her forgiveness. He takes full responsibility for causing her immense pain and asks her not to forgive him, aware that he is unworthy of such grace. However, Kavya firmly interrupts, stating that Adi has no right to apologize merely to alleviate his conscience. She clarifies that he does not know what she has endured all these years. The devastating loss of their child, coupled with being falsely accused of infanticide, would be enough to shatter any mother. With tears in her eyes, Kavya reveals how desperately she longed to reach out to Adi over the past three years and invites him to join her on a journey towards healing.
Giriraj reassures Seema, saying he will handle the situation. He leaves, and Seema resolves to protect herself against Kavya, getting a confession from Bablu.
It is midnight when Kavya takes Adi to the internet café. Adi apologizes to the owner and sends him away. Kavya opens her email and shows him her drafts. She explains that she wanted to send him these drafts but never did. As she reads a few drafts aloud, Kavya reveals that she tried to talk to him but never did. Adi tells her he killed her feelings and adds that he will hold an inquiry tomorrow, which will determine her fate once again. Kavya leaves, but Adi stops her and shows her that he wrote drafts but never sent them. He asks Kavya to forgive him, but she says it is too late.
Malini tells Anjali over the phone that Adi has apologized to Kavya but still hasn’t forgiven him. Anjali speculates that Kavya isn’t speaking to Adi because he hasn’t forgiven him. She fears losing her job when she tells Anjali and Rajiv she’ll go to Sachivalaya immediately. Malini tells Adi she cannot bear to see him in pain. Adi assures her he will ask Kavya to forgive him until she does.
