The Episode begins with a doctor approaching Kavya and inquiring about her readiness for sonography. Kavya confirms, and the doctor reassures her that it’s the first day of parenthood and they will gradually learn everything. She then instructs Kavya to lie down for the test and informs her that she is having trouble finding the baby’s heartbeat. This causes Adi and Kavya to become anxious. Luckily, the doctor eventually locates the heartbeat, bringing immense relief to Adi and Kavya. As they see their baby on the screen, Kavya decides against an abortion, while Adi declares their desire to have their child. With smiles, they make promises to their little ones with joy in their hearts.
Giriraj and Rajeev engage in a heated argument, causing Anjali to urge them to remain calm. Rajeev accuses her of constantly targeting Adi, but Anjali reminds them both to focus on the present and think about the well-being of their children. Adi and Kavya return home with good news – their baby is healthy and normal. A sense of joy fills the room as everyone congratulates them. Sanjeev congratulates Kavya while Alka reassures her that she will make a great mother. Adi reveals they were not prepared for a child but have decided to become parents. This statement upsets Rajeev.
Anjali reassures, “Don’t worry, we’re here to take care of everything.” Kavya catches up with Rajeev while Adi inquires if she’s happy. Giriraj expresses joy, “I’ve been eagerly awaiting this day.” Rajeev shares his concerns, “I want you to have a good husband and family… I’m afraid you might be sacrificing your dreams.” Giriraj suggests, “Perhaps it would be best for Kavya to rest and enjoy her pregnancy for nine months.” Rajeev adds, “I am overjoyed to become a grandfather for the first time. I couldn’t have been more proud when you became an IAS officer again. I know both things are important to you.”
Giriraj expresses concern about Kavya pursuing a job, to which she responds that she believes it is the right time for her to become a mother. Rajeev acknowledges her capabilities but reminds her to prioritize work as well. She assures him that she will do both. He embraces her and feels grateful to have such a daughter. Kavya reciprocates the sentiment, acknowledging how lucky she is to be part of his family and for her child to have him as a grandparent. Rajeev playfully adds that she did not disclose their plan to her boss. Kavya remembers the conversation with DM, stating he would not let her work.
He says to win his trust and tell him. She nods. Giriraj says to go and ask her to leave the job. Adi says okay, and I will also take a break. Giriraj asks why. Adi says, “I’m becoming a father; I’ll sit at home. Giriraj says, “I have to take care of Kavya and the baby,” since it’s my baby.
Even though everyone is around to take care of her, Giriraj asks if you are in your senses. Keeping the woman on her own is wrong. Malini says I’m very proud of you. Adi thanks her. Giriraj departs. Anjali says she wants to tell you something. Rajeev says he knows everything. She says I was considering doing a job. He asks what. He laughs. He says you didn’t step outside the house ever, who will offer you a job? Understand me, you can’t do it, let it go. She cries.
Anjali says you fight with others for your daughter’s success; you want to bind your wife behind the four walls. Why is there this difference between wife and daughter? Mayank hears her.
As the sun rises, Kavya awakens to find Adi by her side. He mentioned he was catching up on the latest news. She glances at his screen and reads about pregnancy do’s and don’ts. Curious, she asks if he is looking into this topic. He admits that he feels clueless about such matters. She assures him that she, too, lacks knowledge in this area, but it doesn’t ruin their nights together. However, she does question his faith in her abilities to handle a potential pregnancy. He responds with a similar accusation, suggesting they may regret their decision to be together. Seeking comfort, she leans against him and reminds him of their mutual decision to love one another and start a family. She believes this choice cannot be wrong and begs for his promise not to doubt it again.
Adi explains the first trimester to her. He asks her to sleep. She says she has a lot of work to do. He tells her to work later. He shows her all his preparations for her meals, care, and safety. She smiles. He says I will read many articles and become the best father. She says I will manage it on my own. He says I knew it. She asks the matter. He says nothing. She says I’ll somersault, tell me. He says no, sit. You were afraid of the news because you didn’t trust me.
