At the beginning of the episode, Giriraj and Malini argue. Seema flirts with him. She says she heard about Sangeet and came to handle it, and it is okay if everyone sings and dances. He responds that Malini prepares well. Seeing Kavya home, Malini asks if she is okay. Adi thanks Kavya for coming. He asks how I can assist. Kavya says junior Pradhan has arrived; there is no need to worry. Seema greets them, and Kavya thanks her for tipping them.
Seema must serve the country. She leaves work, didn’t you get ready? Kavya says no. Adi asks Kavya to change. Seema says yes, go, stay dressed up if you want to control the husband. Otherwise… Malini looks worried. Kavya leaves. She gets ready. Adi ties the back string of her blouse. Agar ho tum… Plays… She thanks him. He says it is my duty, anything else. Your wife isn’t a fool. You called me here in function, so if you have any other motive, that won’t work.
They argue. She says you think you will complain to the secretary, and I will stop. Adi says I didn’t do anything. You know I say anything in anger. She says don’t lie. He says I can’t always clarify, but I’m done. He goes. Shubh comes and says work is done, but the medicine consignment got caught. She says, “I told you you would do it.” He holds her hand, saying he wants the same respect and trust. Adi watches.
I wonder why you held my hand. Shubh says I have nothing in my heart; I just wanted to say thanks. She says we should thank Seema, and we will expose this whole scam. I’m glad there is someone who is sincere here. He says I learned this from you, so should I take down the checkpost security? Malini asks what happened, why are you upset, Kavya has returned home. She says yes, they will send the cargo from another route. Seema asks the man to send the big consignment from the same route, but the police won’t check there. She asks the man what happened and why are you upset.
Anubha and her parents arrive warmly greeted by Malini, Giriraj, and Adi. Grateful for the warm welcome, Anubha expresses her thanks to Adi. However, Adi feels Anubha is settling for less than she deserves and advises her against it. As they all continue to converse, they notice Shubh approaching with Kavya. Kavya sweetly compliments Anubha and offers her well wishes but, unfortunately, receives a taunting response from Anubha before storming off. Bewildered by Anubha’s behavior towards her, Kavya turns to Adi for an explanation. Understanding the situation well, Adi explains that anyone in Anubha’s position would react similarly toward Shubh’s ex-partner. Desperate to clear up the misunderstanding, Kavya approaches Anubha and sheds some light on the situation. Meanwhile, Mayank arrives at the scene and informs them that Rajeev has not come, as he has never vowed to step into their house again. Slightly frustrated, Mayank wonders who he should give his gift and ultimately decides to provide it to Shubh instead.
Kavya says Adi is upset and strange; I should be upset with him. Adi hugs Mayank. Kavya asks Malini to help her. Malini says to convince him, one husband, one life. Seema walks in to announce an announcement. Giriraj smiles at Seema. She performs poetry. He praises her. They dance on Naino me sapna…. Shubh goes to take a phone call. He sees Kavya’s room and sees Adi and her pics. Anubha watches. Shubh says he wants to move forward but can’t figure out why I always get pulled back. He leaves.
It is Seema’s turn to compliment Giriraj. She asks who will perform next. Malini says Kavya. Everyone claps. Kavya dances with Adi on Kya gazab karte ho ji. Shubh watches.
