It begins when Jaideep asks Kavya to address him as Sir instead of uncle. He taunts her. He asks her to take her seat. He says he wants to hear your story and motives. He asks Richa to speak first. As Richa says, don’t judge a book by its cover. Everyone tells their motives. Jaideep asks Adhiraj to speak. Adhiraj says he doesn’t know his motives; some people should be free-flowing. Jaideep asks Kavya to state her motives.
It worries Kavya. Jaideep says she has quieted down. She says I had a dream as a child of becoming an IAS. He asks if your voice is weak or courage-based, talk aloud. She says I… When my elder sister… Jaideep says maybe you need more time to prepare, one week, one month, or one year, you can take another year to prepare. He takes the mic away from her and taunts her.
Everybody claps as he addresses everyone. He says the trainee who completes the toughest project will receive this shield, your rural visit is important, 8 Ots will be chosen, you will be rebuilding that village, and he wishes everyone the best for this training.
As individuals depart from the location, Kavya takes the stage and shares her intentions, shedding tears as she speaks of her sister’s tragic death. She expresses her aspiration to become an IAS officer and advocate for those in need. The peon overhears and applauds, bringing a smile to Kavya’s face as she envisions her sister joining in the applause. Jaideep informs Ms Sinha about Basant Khedi, a village with a history of distrust towards the government. He anticipates this will pose a significant challenge for our OTs, and he is curious to see if they can initiate change within the village. The group wakes up early the next morning.
Kavya is exhausted from jogging when Jaideep notices her. Karan urges them to hurry and secure seats for their upcoming village visit. Jaideep contacts Gauri, who praises his plan. He remarks that Kavya has learned a lot from him but still lacks control over her emotions. He doubts she’ll be able to go through with the village visit and instead return to Shubh. Gauri accuses him of wanting Kavya as his daughter-in-law, to which he responds that Shubh has lost motivation and won’t pass next year without Kavya’s defeat. Each person presents their opinions to Ms Sinha, who determines they must find solutions for their rural project in Basant Khedi. This news shocks Kavya.
Kavya leaves the class after hearing Ms Sinha say OTs will be selected based on performance. She asks Jaideep why he is doing this, and why he chose Basant Khedi. Jaideep does not listen. He says we’ll forget the protocol for a while, so I’m telling you, you can’t do it.
