Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai 7th March 2024 Written Episode Update

She asks the children to show their books and calls Naina to ask where Jivi is. Nandini replies that she will not be coming today since she won’t attend school. Nandini asks if she is not feeling well, and Jivi tells her that she is unwell. While she returns, Nandini then asks them to write what they have learned twice.

In his room, Mehul reflects on Hemraj, blaming him for jeopardizing his sister’s relationship with Naren. He remembers how Nandini tied a Rakhi on his hand and asked for a gift, which he gave her a small pot that she complimented as “very nice.” As Grandmother brings breakfast and encourages Mehul to eat, he brushes her off, claiming to be busy with work. However, when Hemraj Ratansi calls, he excuses himself to answer it. Hemraj asks Mehul for his sister’s name and urges him to be honest about her. He warns Mehul not to let Nandini or her family find out and forces him to make a promise.

Since they would not let their daughter take her exams, Nandini tells Anjula that she didn’t think she’d have to talk to him and asks what century they live in. Kinjil comes to Anousya Baa and asks Baa to try the new tea, but Samta asks Kinjil to leave and Anousya Baa asks why Samta won’t let anyone do the work, Samta replies that those days are over when Anousya Baa is shocked.

Nandini inquires about the potential lessons Jivi would miss out on if she forego education. Anjula responds by stating that books are considered pure while implying that women are impure, thus questioning how a woman can touch such sacred items. Nandini rebuts that if the books are pure, then how could they be rendered unclean by mere touch and reminds them that many homes have a lady of the house, and their temple is also within the home. In response, Anousya Baa instructs Samta to fetch a bucket of water for cleaning purposes. Nandini clarifies that in some parts of the southern region, when a girl experiences her menstrual cycle, it is celebrated as a sign of maturity, highlighting the contrast between traditional practices and their current situation.

Nandini inquires about Jivi’s readiness to attend school and take exams. Kinjil reassures her that nothing is wrong, but Anousya Baa insists that she leave the house. Samta then orders Kinjil to go as well. Anjula wonders why Jivi remains silent, to which Nandini explains that Anjula has shamed her since childhood and cannot speak up in front of her father. As the father leaves, Nandini asks if Jivi feels uncomfortable with the clothes she is wearing from her old saree.

Nandini takes out a sanitary napkin and asks Kivi to wear it while Anjula nods in agreement. The father inquires about the safety of wearing one, but Nandini leaves with Kivi. Anousya ensures Kinjil stays in her room for the next four days as Samta shares her participation in a college event. Anousya may not know much about it, but she values tradition. Suddenly, the child rushes in to inform Anousha that Hemraj has called everyone downstairs.

Hemraj gathers everyone to discuss the marriage, as he always includes others in his decisions. He shares that Nandini is the girl who holds Naren’s heart and mentions that she has faced difficult circumstances as an orphan with a deceased mother and a father who remarried. Hemraj assures that he is not concerned about her family background. When Naren questions how he knew all this, Hemraj explains that he thoroughly researches before making any decisions, just like when he picks out toys for Naren. Additionally, Hemraj reveals that Ishwar and his wife have taken care of Nandini and her brother but live modestly and risk losing their land through auction. He wonders if

Naren believes the family is capable of providing anything. However, Hemraj points out that Naren often challenges their values. He reminds Naren to observe and see that Baa, Jalpa, Samta, Heta, Roupa, and even Naren’s mother came to this house after fulfilling all the rituals. Hemraj emphasizes that it is only suitable for the daughter-in-law to bring prosperity as the faithful Lakshmi in a household like theirs. Chanchal would never question why he allowed Samta to marry his brother. This is because her parents met his requirements, and she is now a part of their family.

According to Anousya Baa, she does not want a girl whose mother committed suicide to enter their house. Hemraj inquires if Naren still plans to marry her. Naren responds that he has always been pushed into following decisions and reveals that his father has already investigated Nandini’s family background. However, even if she came from the wealthiest family in Rajkot, he wouldn’t want any dowry or money because Nandini is unique and goes against the tradition of accepting a bride with a dowry.

According to Naren, there is talk about Hemraj Ratansi, who has assigned a value to each person in this household. However, Naren also claims to be the son of Hemraj Ratansi, who stands firmly by his principles and only cares for his daughter Nandini. Despite Hemraj’s warning that no matter what Naren does, the woman will not become a part of their family, and society is aware that he will not change his mind. In a fit of anger, Naren storms out while Chanchal becomes anxious.
