The episode begins with Prachi requesting that Divya fetch some new cups. Vishaka assures her that she has already washed and set them out. Ashok wonders why they haven’t arrived yet since RV was punctual yesterday. Diya appears, asking for a hair clip. Vishaka asks if she isn’t ready yet, to which Diya responds that she just needs the clip. Divya hands her one. As the doorbell rings, Ashok greets RV and his family. RV introduces his family to Poorvi’s family, and they all take a seat. Ashok inquires if they faced any difficulties getting here. Harman replies that they encountered some traffic issues but are accustomed to them.
Ashok introduces his family and household help. Bijli offers to bring water for everyone. Nupur shares that it is a tradition for girls to get water when a guy’s family visits. Dadi adds that she will also make tea and pagodas, while Dadu mentions bringing biscuits and samosas. Nupur then mentioned that she would be wearing a veil during the visit. Harleen proudly states that their entire household is full of fun-loving individuals. Prachi agrees and Manpreet remarks that RV’s values are visible in him. Ashok then introduces Diya, describing her as playful. However, Diya denies being mischievous herself. As the conversation continues, Harman asks about Poorvi’s father, to which Manpreet sadly explains that he passed away in an accident many years ago. Harman expresses his condolences, and Prachi reminds everyone that he may not be here physically, but he remains alive through their memories and love for him.
As Poorvi arrives, Nupur teases RV and asks if you filled her maang for her benefit or just because she was so beautiful. RV asks Dadu not to tease him. Dadu says I already knew about them. Poorvi sits down with Damini, and Chacha ji gives her his chair. RV’s Bhabhi tells Damini that RV had many alliances but didn’t want to marry then. Harman says it’s destiny that he met Poorvi, and now they’re engaged.
Harleen informs everyone that Pandit ji has confirmed tomorrow as the mahurat for the wedding. She then turns to Poorvi and asks if she approves of the match. Ashok, Manpreet, and others all admire RV and his good qualities. Harleen specifically asks Poorvi for her opinion, to which Diya responds positively. Divya encourages Diya to ask Poorvi to answer directly. Harleen then confirms with Poorvi once again, who nods in agreement.
She brings sweets. Dadu says I’ll take some sweets with me. Ashok says sure and congrats them. Dadu says Poorvi will brighten our home, and I’m happy. Prachi says everything is happening quickly; how can we make arrangements since the shops must be closed now? Beeji says we don’t want anything. Dadu asks what could be more precious than Poorvi. Harleen says I was about to mention this.
Damini says it’s everyone’s heart talk. Harman says we think girls’ families are better than groom’s families. RV says you’re giving us your biggest treasure, Poorvi. We’re taking it with our hands. Dadu says Poorvi will be happy in our house, and Beeji asks them not to make sad faces and to smile, as there are so many things to do. He says they should bid her farewell with smiles on their faces.
Poorvi alights from the auto as the driver drops her off, refusing to take her to the market. While bending down to retrieve something, she notices Ranbir passing by in his car, and he pulls over. He steps out of his car and greets Poorvi. She exclaims, “You’re here?” Ranbir responds, “Didn’t you recognize me? Have I changed that much?” He kindly offers her a ride, but Poorvi declines. However, he insists, and she eventually agrees to sit in his car. As they start driving, Ranbir notices that Poorvi’s mother did not wear her seat belt. She explains she was about to do so when he interrupts, “Consider me like your dad and allow me to secure you.” After fastening her seat belt for her, Ranbir continues driving but accidentally drops his wallet into Poorvi’s bag. He then mentioned that he wanted to attend her sangeet (pre-wedding celebration) but couldn’t participate in it. Taking this opportunity, Poorvi invites him to her wedding tomorrow and provides the venue address.
As Damini’s husband inquires about her apparent anger, she denies it. He accuses her of being dishonest, prompting Damini to express her dislike for Poorvi and the admiration she receives from others. He then suggests that she may be upset because RV did not approve of the girls she recommended. However, he advises her to let go of those thoughts as RV is satisfied with Poorvi and encourages her to find happiness. Beeji overhears their conversation and asks for an explanation. Damini covers up by discussing why they shouldn’t consider other marriage proposals. Her husband interjects, saying they should focus on the girl whose alliance hasn’t been finalized yet.
Yes, Damini says. Beeji says my bahu is very understanding. Damini asks what you need. Beeji says marriage stuff for Poorvi. Damini says she will provide it. Khushi’s husband is getting ready. Khushi gives her husband tea. Her husband asks if you spoke to Poorvi about RV. He says RV has snatched our pandal contract, and he doesn’t like RV. He asks when the marriage will be. Khushi says yes, he will arrive.
