The Episode starts with Beena requesting Poorvi to prepare a delicious meal for everyone. Diya reminds her that they were invited over for food. Ashutosh interjects, stating that they won’t let Poorvi leave without trying her cooking and believes it’s important to make a good first impression on their relatives. Beena mentions that Ashutosh praised Poorvi’s cooking skills to her before. Prachi offers to help Poorvi in the kitchen, but Beena points out that they need someone to engage with the relatives while the others cook. Poorvi reassures Prachi by saying she has been trained well by her. Beena takes Prachi away and Diya finds it odd that they were invited to have food but are now being asked to cook instead. However, Poorvi enjoys making food for everyone and Diya worries about what will happen after marriage if this is how things are now. She hopes for some divine intervention to save Poorvi from this situation.
Beena’s relative commends her for assigning kitchen duties to the future daughter-in-law. Another family member inquires if Beena had informed her about the whereabouts of the kitchen supplies. The elderly relative requests Ashutosh to ask her to make tea as a priority. Just then, Poorvi arrives and offers to prepare food for them. Beena praises Poorvi’s gesture while Ashutosh reminds her to make tea. Beena specifies the location of the tea, milk, etc., and asks Poorvi to start making tea. The elder relative mentions that people advised against having Poorvi marry into their family due to her father’s absence. Prachi expresses shock at this statement while Ashutosh’s aunt explains that some are spreading rumors about Poorvi being involved with multiple men, including Jasbir, and therefore they should not proceed with the marriage.
In response, Prachi says nobody can talk such things about a girl. Ashutosh’s aunt says we had gone to pooja, and they were saying this. Another relative said if Ashutosh broke the alliance, the girl’s life would be ruined. Prachi goes to wash her hands. Ashutosh asks why you are talking like this, and explains that he didn’t talk about breaking the alliance. Beena says we are hearing everyone, but we don’t believe them.
He bends down to pick something up when RV comes out of the car. Jasbir sees him and says my sworn enemy has been killed. RV sits in the car and drives off. Jasbir runs, but RV goes. He asks guard to bring the jeep. Guard says we will not go. Jasbir scolds him and asks him to be courageous if he wants to work with him. He leaves the guard on the road and drives off in his car.
As tears stream down Prachi’s face, she is reminded of their accusation. Manpreet arrives and gently guides her to sit down. “Your tears,” she consoles, “have a way of reaching me.” Prachi expresses how difficult it is to bear the unjust character assassination of Poorvi. She explains that not only has Sheela brought up the issue in the neighborhood, but Ashutosh’s grandmother has also heard similar rumors. According to them, Poorvi’s marriage prospects are being hindered by this false rumor. Prachi emphasizes that now more than ever, Poorvi’s marriage must take place before her life is ruined. Manpreet reassures her, noting that times have changed and they have already met all their demands. She urges Prachi to consider how Poorvi would feel seeing her like this and encourages her to join them outside.
Jasbir has contacted Poorvi and informed her that RV’s death is imminent. He plans to tell her after he kills RV. Poorvi then returns to the kitchen and explains to Diya that she cannot go and serve tea because she is in tears. When Diya asks why, Poorvi reveals that her mother was crying helplessly due to rumors about her being involved with two men – RV and Jasbir. She wants to keep their mother from getting hurt if the marriage falls through, as it means a lot to her. Hence, she requests Diya not to mention RV anymore.
In order to calm Poorvi, Diya asks her not to cry and to keep tension in check. She hugs Poorvi to calm her down and says I will provide tea to everyone, says you are the best, and nothing wrong will happen to you. She makes tea for everyone. Poorvi says I am sorry Maa, tears came in your eyes because of me, but I promise to keep this marriage going, and that I will not raise a finger against your upbringing or values. She says I will not end this marriage.
As Harleen opens the door, her elder son approaches and inquires about the reason for her concern. She confides in him, recounting a similar feeling she experienced three years prior. He reassures her that nothing will come of it now, as RV is currently en route. Concerned for his mother’s well-being, he invites her to take a seat and calls for the servant to bring some water. Taking initiative, he then reaches out to RV himself. Upon answering the call, RV mentions experiencing a headache and requests a head massage from Harleen. Afterwards, he answers another call from Harman but quickly ends it upon realizing RV is driving. RV advises Harman to go home and keep an eye on their mother while reassuring him that he will stop by Ajmera on his way back. Jasbir takes up the rear in his jeep as they follow RV’s car.
