The episode opens in court with the Judge asking Neha (Nethra) whether she’s happy about the proposed marriage with RV. Neha, staying in character, expresses confusion—questioning whether the marriage is real or just a legal tactic to avoid RV’s arrest. Her clever doubt sows uncertainty in court. Monisha, Jassi, and Sahil quietly admire her manipulation.
The Judge then calls RV to the stand and questions whether he genuinely wants to marry Neha. RV glances at Poorvi before admitting that he never imagined marrying Neha, but is doing it to set things right. He confesses that while he never wanted this, he is willing to go through with it. Harleen and Dadi try to intervene, but the Judge silences them.
Ultimately, the Judge declares that since RV and Neha are now engaged, RV will not be arrested, but a marriage must occur within 9 days. The court will reconvene on the 10th day to confirm the marriage. While the Malhotras are relieved RV isn’t going to jail, the pressure of the impending wedding shocks everyone—especially Poorvi.
Outside court, Poorvi spots Jassi but is distracted by Neha, who smugly suggests they begin wedding preparations immediately—starting with the sangeet ceremony tomorrow.
Back home, Monisha, Jassi, and Sahil celebrate. Jassi declares that RV is trapped and Poorvi has lost. Though Neha is nervous that the wedding might become real, they all believe the plan is on track. Jassi promises to separate RV and Poorvi for good and dreams of taking Poorvi with him.
Meanwhile, RV and Poorvi lie restless at night, both overwhelmed with emotion. They share a soft moment where RV asks her for water and quietly wishes she could be by his side forever. Poorvi promises she always will be. They both fight back tears, realising how close they are to being forced apart.
The next morning, chaos erupts when Neha is seen decorating the Malhotra house for the wedding. She addresses Harleen as her “mother-in-law” and starts giving instructions for lights, flowers, and rituals. RV, Harleen, and Poorvi are stunned. Neha casually takes charge, suggesting Haldi and wedding decorations be divided among family members. Vaishali arrives, and even she is shocked. Monisha shows up and is taken aback by Neha’s boldness, while Neha sarcastically questions her role in the house.
