Despite the tension, RV insists that proceeding with the roka is the only way to prevent a greater catastrophe. He asks Mr. Mehta if the necessary arrangements can be made, and Mr. Mehta confirms. Poorvi, feeling responsible, apologizes to RV, but he reassures her. As Mrs. Mehta brings the roka essentials, RV requests Harleen to officiate the ritual.
