Kumkum Bhagya 27 December 2024 Written Episode begins with Monisha telling Deepika that RV and Poorvi are getting closer. She says she feels suffocated and does not know what to do. Deepika advises her to stay quiet for a few days. Monisha asks what she means. Deepika scolds her and says she tried every possible trick, even bringing a downmarket girl like Nethra into their home, but instead of creating problems for Poorvi, everything backfired.
Deepika tells her that RV risked his life to save Poorvi, which proves he has changed. She says RV has become Poorvi’s shield and Poorvi has become his. She adds that RV risked his life because he loves her. Monisha refuses to accept it, saying RV belongs only to her. Deepika says she cannot deny what is happening. Monisha says Khushi has always been her biggest problem because RV could never give that place to anyone else, not even to her. She says if RV is doing something for someone else now, then that empty place is meant for her, not Poorvi. She vows not to let Poorvi take her place.
Harleen enters RV’s room. RV tells her he is fine. Harleen cries and says she was terrified when Nethra stabbed him. Harman comforts her and says RV is safe. Poorvi tries to leave, but Harman calls her back and asks her to stay. He tells RV that he is alive because of Poorvi. Harman says everyone had lost hope, but Poorvi stood strong like a shield and protected the entire family.
Poorvi is surprised and asks what she did. Harman reminds her that she filed the FIR, brought RV to the hospital, and arranged blood for him. He says she handled everything while they were helpless. He blesses her and says she deserves every happiness. Poorvi becomes emotional. Harleen wipes her tears and says that today she wants to confess something. She says they are lucky that Poorvi became their bahu.
RV recalls how Harleen once got angry when he took Poorvi’s name in front of Monisha. The memory fades, and Harleen hugs Poorvi. RV smiles. Harman tells RV to rest and says they will go home and get him discharged in the morning.
Elsewhere, Khushi looks at her old photos with RV and cries. She says she is unlucky because she lost a love that most people never find. She remembers how RV bought one coconut water so they could share it, but she misunderstood him and thought he had no money. She recalls how he made bubbles for her and called her a princess, but she had dismissed it as cheap behaviour. She says she never realised how pure his love was and is glad Poorvi married him.
Poorvi sleeps outside RV’s ward and remembers Armaan slapping Khushi. Harleen arrives and tells her that Harman has gone to complete RV’s discharge formalities. Poorvi asks if her Papa has come, and Harleen replies that RV’s father is like her father. Poorvi says Harleen is like her mother and thanks her for giving her a mother’s love. Harleen asks her to come along so they can talk at home.
At the Thakkar house, Dadu worries whether the children are fine and whether they ate. Dadi tells him she should be the one worried, but he is behaving like a second Dadi. Dadu says RV will only sleep peacefully at home.
Monisha enters with an aarti plate. Dadi asks why she brought it instead of Deepika. Monisha says she is also family and shares a relation with RV. The doorbell rings and Poorvi walks in. RV enters with his parents behind her. Monisha steps forward and says she will do RV’s aarti first. Harleen stops her and asks why she should do it. Monisha says anyone can do aarti, but Dadi firmly says no. Only the mother or an elder can do aarti, and Monisha is only a guest. Dadu agrees.
Dadi takes the aarti plate and performs RV’s aarti emotionally before hugging him. Dadu hugs him next. Harman proudly says the house exists because of RV. Harleen says RV is everyone’s life. Dadu says Poorvi is also part of them now and calls her forward. They all share a group hug.
Monisha becomes furious and walks away. Deepika follows her, apologising for what happened. Monisha says those elderly people humiliated her and she will not tolerate it. She says everyone is overstepping their limits, and if she crosses hers, it will not be good for the family. She reminds Deepika that everything RV has today is because of her money, and the family has forgotten her importance. She says RV should tell everyone that she is his love and future wife. She says Poorvi came between them. Deepika tries to calm her, but Monisha refuses to stay silent.
Poorvi takes RV to their room. RV tries to sleep on the couch, but Poorvi guides him to the bed and says he will be more comfortable there. RV says he could not sleep on the hospital bed. Poorvi says she knows. RV says she knows too much about him. Poorvi replies that a wife should know her husband well. RV says he is happy to finally lie on his own bed and hints at wanting something more.
Poorvi smiles and tells him to take whatever belongs to him. RV says whatever is hers will always remain hers.
Precap: Monisha asks RV to prove his love for her. RV replies that their relationship is finished. Poorvi warns Armaan that if he harms her sister again, she will have him jailed. Armaan is shocked.
