The episode begins with Poorvi confronting RV for the way he spoke to his mother. She reminds him that no mother likes being spoken to rudely by her child, regardless of the situation. Poorvi firmly states that while RV might feel she was wronged, it’s not right to disrespect his mother. She insists that a mother’s sacrifices cannot be compared and says RV should have explained things to her calmly instead of reacting.
RV defends Poorvi, asserting that she wasn’t at fault and he won’t tolerate anyone insulting his wife. However, he also assures Poorvi that if she were wrong and his mother was right, he’d support his mother. Poorvi, however, emphasizes that even if his mother is wrong, he must still respect her, and to keep her happy, he should apologize and go ahead with the engagement to Nethra. She assures him of her support.
RV visits Harleen to apologize. Harleen accuses Poorvi of manipulating him, while Vaishali and Deepika blame Poorvi for the tension. RV, staying composed, apologizes and agrees to the engagement due to the looming court case. Harman highlights the importance of proceeding to avoid legal trouble. Harleen reluctantly agrees to make the engagement arrangements.
As guests arrive, Neha confronts Harleen, who bluntly says she doesn’t consider Neha suitable for RV. Angry at the insult, Neha vows revenge. Meanwhile, Poorvi is visibly affected seeing the engagement card and expresses her unease to Diya. Though Diya reassures her, Poorvi struggles to hide her sadness.
RV feels Poorvi is setting him up as a scapegoat, but Dadu and Vikrant remind him how upset she was. Deepika senses something fishy with Nethra and questions Monisha, who reveals she’s aware of Nethra’s alliance with Jassi. Vaishali enters mid-conversation, searching for Jaswant ji.
Later, Dadi takes Monisha aside, urging her to help RV escape Nethra’s trap. She assures Monisha that if RV is saved, he will eventually be hers. Encouraged, Monisha agrees to help. Neha secretly overhears this conversation.
RV, puzzled by Poorvi’s sadness despite the engagement being fake, discusses Nethra’s manipulative behavior with the family. Poorvi then steps in with a daring plan — to expose Nethra using a truth serum. She explains how she learned about it and got in touch with a friend. The family praises her idea and decides to proceed with caution.
Meanwhile, RV tries to hold Poorvi’s pallu but fails, lost in thought about what he was attempting.
